This fantastical fairy tale stars Eddie Murphy as Prince Akeem, a pampered African prince who is yearning to be self-sufficient in his extremely opulent society, where his every whim is catered to. Coming to America video When Akeem turns 21 he defies the wishes of his kingdom and refuses to marry the beautiful bride who has been chosen for him. Instead, he sets out for America to find true love with his trusty sidekick, Semmi (Arsenio Hall). | Love this movie
I originally watched Coming to America on TV and loved it. It is both sad, at times, and funny. I normally don't like Eddie Murphy movies because of the bad language, but this one doesn't have his usual language. I thought I was getting a full screen movie and it came as wide screen. The web site didn't indicate next to the selection that it was wide screen, where as one of the other picks did. That is my only complaint about the movie.

| An all time favorite and a classic
I love this movie period. And to have access to it on DVD was just the extra perk that i needed to satisfy my love for this movie. Eddie Murphy is hilarious. Also I want to say thank you to 'Video Universe' because I looked every where and I could not fimd this particular movie on DVD, some places had not even heard of it! Thanks again.
