Mizukiristart songs
$5.39 Carnie and Wendy Wilson, formerly of pop combo Wilson-Phillips, deliver corny sugarplums on Hey Santa. Except for the co-penned title track (with guest vocal appearance from uncle Carl Wilson), it's all standard material ranging from "Little Drummer Boy" to "Jingle Bell Rock." The music blends the cuddly pop of their previous group with a lukewarm Phil Spector/girl-group sound. Beach Boys fans will want to note "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus," a 1977 track from the family vaults with papa Brian on piano. ~ Roch Parisien
Personnel: Carnie Wilson (vocals, background vocals); Wendy Wilson (vocals, background vocals); Hailey Love, Christian Love, Jonah Wilson, Adam Jardine, Justin Wilson, Alan ...

| | Dani Atkinson Flying Far Away CD (2007)
Mizukiristart album
$6.69 Hi, my name is Dani Atkinson. I was born on February 12th, 1991, which makes me sixteen years old! If I had to describe myself in just a few words, I would say that I'm optimistic, dedicated, and most of all driven. I have been attracted to music for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was three years old, I would tell my mom that I wanted to be a singer. Although it was obvious I had the potential in me, she wanted to protect me from dreaming for something that seems so far out of reach. However, I kept dreaming. At ten years old, I took it upon myself to submit a resume to John Robert Power's Acting Agency. My parents finally started to understand how serious I was about performing. Singing around the house, was no longer enough for me, I needed to be on stage. I started taking part in local talent shows and performing whenever there was an opportunity. I started working with my vocal coach, Erin Volpintesta, at 11 years old, and many more doors were opened. I started singing at restaurants in Connecticut, at 'Future Diva Night' and 'Angel Fests.' I auditioned and was a top finalist in 'Westchester Teen Idol. ' I won first place in talent shows throughout middle school, and so far in my high school years. I have been asked to sing the National Anthem and God Bless America for Little League games, high school football and basketball games, Community Days, and the Hudson Valley Renegades Minor League Baseball games. In 2006, I signed a contract with Angel Thorne Music Productions to record a demo CD at 14 years old. I began working with Rob Volpintesta, my producer, and created a CD that means a great deal to me. This was the first time I experimented with writing lyrics, and found a great passion. Over the past two years, this demo has a been a great outlet for self expression. I was introduced to many talented musicians, and experienced what it means to be a recording artist. Aside from my pop/rock genre, I also take part in musical theatre. I have been a part of Superman, A Chorus Line, Aida, Bye Bye Birdie as Kim McAfee, Peter Pan as Wendy, Little Women as Amy, and currently Beauty and The Beast as Belle. Balancing rehearsals, studio time, and school work, has illustrated my ability to handle stress and my level of focus. A normal day consists of eight hours of Honors and Advanced Placement Classes that end at 2 p.m., a two hour dance class at VP Dance Academy from 4 -6 p. m taught by Louis Perez (former Broadway performer), 2 hours of Drama Rehearsal from 7-9 p. m led by musical theatre director Anthony Scarrone , and ...
| | Morning Benders Talking Through Tin Cans CD (2008)
Mizukiristart CD music
$11.39 Arriving at the onset of summer, Talking Through Tin Cans marks the Morning Benders' full-length debut on +1 Records. Singer/guitarist Chris Chu originally launched the band as a solo project in 2005, and he remains in the driver's seat on these 11 tracks, handling most of the production duties while claiming all songwriting credits. His tunes are quick and economical, often relying on clear-cut hooks and melodies rather than ambience, and much of Talking Through Tin Cans could very well be a solo record. But Chu's three bandmates do make themselves known -- not necessarily in the harmonies that flank many of Chu's vocals (those are ...
