FINALLY WOKEN marks the recording debut of Welsh singer/songwriter Jem Griffiths. With a voice that brings to mind Beth Orton and songs that sometimes echo the poppier aspects of atmospheric electronic acts such as Air and Royksopp, Jem unveils tunes that are custom-made for lounge, cafe, and bedroom listening.
