$11.99 Hollywood never learns. Hot on the heels of box-office failures Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and Can't Stop the Music, comes the roller-skating Olivia Newton John in Xanadu. This soundtrack is fluff stuff to be sure, but some pearls ...

Radio CD Soundtrack CD music
$19.59 This is a hybrid Super Audio CD playable on both regular and Super Audio CD players.
The definitive rock opera, TOMMY liberated the Who from a "singles band" stigma, marking them as a substantial artistic force. Composer Pete Townshend had flirted with the conceptual format on two previous releases, but here his vision is spread over two ambitious records that play to the Who's main strengths. Anthems such as the raucous "Pinball Wizard" and the surprisingly serene "I'm Free" emphasize the kinetic power of the band, while Townshend's cast of characters (the perverted Uncle Ernie, the inscrutable Tommy) reveals a wild and unconventional imagination. Townshend even incorporates Sonny Boy Williamson's "Eyesight ...

Radio CD Soundtrack songs
$6.49 If you don't have eclectic taste in music, soundtracks can present a problem. Sometimes a soundtrack will focus on one style of music exclusively, but most of the time, a director will use any types of music he/she finds useful -- regardless of genre. The director's job isn't catering to those who limit themselves to one genre of music -- it's selecting any music that enables him/her to tell the story well. So if a director finds that everything from heavy metal to R&B to adult contemporary helps him/her tell a story, you could end up with a very diverse soundtrack. To fully appreciate the soundtrack for the 1985 film Vision Quest, you need to appreciate a variety ...

$16.49 I consider myself a multi-media artist involved with expressing myself through words, sound, color, light and vision. In my particular case, I've been writing since I was 6 years old, starting with short stories. I eventually graduated to writing prose poetry, which then morphed into writing song lyrics. (Let's face it: all the successful poets and prophets in this century are rock stars!) In addition to writing all lyrics and singing, I play a mountain dulcimer, keyboards and some percussion. For those of you who aren't familiar, a mountain dulcimer is a four-stringed, hourglass-shaped instrument made out of wood and played while it rests on one's lap.. usually strummed with a dulcimer pick, although I never use one (yep.. just like Jeff Beck!). D\'you remember when Joni Mitchell used to play a dulcimer on her first few albums? (\"Oh, yeaaaahhhh,\" I can hear you all agreeing with me beneath your breath.) Dulcimers can sound very reminiscent of Indian music.. a bit droney and melancholic, even wistful at times. Dulcimers can also emote a country, \"mountain twang' vibe.. as in, \"I\'m from way back in them thar hills,\" if you know what I mean. After all, they hail from the Appalachian Mountains, which go all the way up to Canada. And did you know that the dulcimer is considered to be the first American folk instrument? When I first started performing I played at THE SWEETWATER in Mill Valley, and at all the acoustic clubs in L.A. My favorite places to play were at THE CENTRAL on the Sunset Strip (now known as THE VIPER ROOM), and at THE BREAKAWAY in Venice. Happily, I was given an amazing opportunity earlier this ...
