Import only collection from the popular '60's Pop/Harmony group, who, like the Four Freshmen, were one of Brian Wilson's influences (and contemporaries) when creating the Beach Boys' harmonies. The Lettermen set themselves apart from all the other so-called romancer groups during the early '60s by creating a vocal harmony sound that was easily identifiable and unique . Features 28 tracks including 'Symphony for Susan', 'I Will Love You', 'Secret Love', 'Can't Help Falling in Love', 'Willow Weep for Me', 'To Know Her is to Love Her', 'Venus' and many more. EMI. | Complete Hits, Vol. 2 Music Review Average Rating: (4 out of 5 stars) Great songs One of the best songs on this CD is
Bobby Vinton's, Mr Lonely. That is not
to say the remaining songs are less
brilliant. The Lettermen do a lot of
songs that were hits by others and
with the harmony they have you know
the sound is worth hearing. One of the
reasons this CD is so good is the fact
that there are so many songs you don't
hear on other Lettermen CDs. The price is a little high, but you get 28 great songs. Submitted by Larry (Pensacols, FL USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 1 of 1 found this helpful.
not what i had expected The songs were only a few of thier best hits and mostly unknown songs not nearly as popular, it was disappointing considering all the hit songs they recorded. Submitted by srlong1231 (austin,tx) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

| | B B King Mr. Blues/Confessin' The Blues CD (2005) (Import) Remastered; United Kingdom
Complete Hits, Vol. 2 album
$18.79 This CD contains B.B. King's first ABC-Paramount studio efforts -- Mr. Blues (1962) and Confessin' the Blues (1965), respectively. While there are inevitable similarities between the projects, offering them back-to-back allows listeners an acute sense of King's rapid maturation and development during what was by all accounts the nexus of the guitarist/vocalist's career. The dozen-song Mr. Blues was a haphazard start for King with the contents taken from three different recording sessions in a 13-month period (March 1, 1962 through April 11, 1963). Based on the ...

| | Nevertheless Live Like We're Alive CD (2006)
Complete Hits, Vol. 2 CD music
$10.89 The heart-on-the-sleeve plaintiveness of emo has so completely infiltrated other post-punk and indie pop music genres that it really no longer makes sense to try to draw a clean distinction between emo and punk. To the degree that this fact results in indie rock that pays attention to melody and hooks, this is a good thing. To the degree that it results in sharp, heavy rock music that is undermined by breathlessly wimpy vocals, it's a bad thing. On its debut album, Live Like We're Alive, the Tennessee-based Nevertheless manages to offer evidence of both tendencies on : with the help of producer James Paul Wisner, the group generates a sound that is crunchy without being abrasive and dense without being oppressive; every song boasts at least one sharp hook, and the hooks range in obviousness from the whoa-oh-oh singalong chorus of "The Real" to the more subtle layers ...
