David Gilmour: Remember That Night - Live at the Royal Albert Hall DVD for sale Drawing on footage from four concerts at London's Royal Festival Hall (one from June 2001, three from January 2002), this footage features David Gilmour performing material that spans his entire career. Beginning with Pink Floyd's "Shine On You Crazy Diamond," we subsequently find Gilmour interpreting two Syd Barrett songs ("Terrapin" and "Dominoes"), a performance from Bizet's opera "The Pearl Fishers," a few more Floyd tunes, and a selection of solo Gilmour delights. Rick Wright, Robert Wyatt and Bob Geldof make surprise appearances, and the whole performance is cemented by a stunning gospel choir lead by Sam Brown.
This DVD was filmed live at his Meltdown Festival concert in London's Royal Festival hall in June 2001, with additional footage from David Gilmour's three concerts at the same venue in January 2002. It also includes guest appearances from Rock Wright, Robert Wyatt and Sir Bob Geldof and includes 16 songs. Special DVD features include home video footage of Gilmour rehearsing, six guitar solos in "close-up", allowing the guitar enthusiast to watch him play in detail.

David Gilmour: Remember That Night - Live at the Royal Albert Hall movie In 2004 the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas, played host to the first Crossroads Guitar Festival--a musical event curated by Eric Clapton. The 2007 incarnation of the event followed a similar pattern to the first show, and features stars such as Jeff Beck, Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson, and Buddy Guy. Many of the musicians perform guest slots with other acts on the bill, making this a truly special occasion, and Clapton also uses the event to pay a moving tribute to the recently deceased Beatle George Harrison. All the money generated by the concert goes to aid the Crossroads Center, which is a nonprofit addiction treatment facility in Antigua.
The second Crossroads Concert, a day-long concert featuring legendary music and collaborations, was filmed on July 28, 2007 to benefit the Crossroads Centre in Antigua. The festival featured the music of Clapton, along with that of many other musicians, including Jeff Beck, Sheryl Crow, Vince Gill, Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Los Lobos, John Mayer, Willie Nelson, Robert Randolph, Robbie Robertson and more. Rhino's royalties from the sale of this DVD will benefit Crossroads Centre. Also includes behind-the-scenes footage.
