One of the best Tributes to Bob I went to this concert and it was the best concert of Spring 2007. My hairs stand on ends everytime I hear Redemetion Song being song by the audience alone. The puertorican reggae band Cultura Profética interpret some of Bob Marley's best so well and with Boris' vocals I forget that I'm listening to a Tribute concert. It's the best Tribute to Bob Marley I've heard yet. Submitted by delgado_lilian (San Sebastian, PR) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 0 of 1 found this helpful.

Tribute To The Legend Bob Marley
$12.35 Although the title, MASTERPIECE, may be a bit of an overstatement, this full-length by duo Rakim (not to be confused with the legendary hip-hop MC) y Ken-y is packed with hopped-up reggaeton that aims to please fans of the genre. The duo has been featured on numerous reggaeton compilations, including EL DRAFT 2005, and they also gained attention (and favor with female fans) with their sexy video for "Tu No Estas." MASTERPIECE shows the pair fully capable of stretching their infectious beats, rapid-fire rhymes, and catchy pop refrains over a larger canvas. The audio portion of this CD/DVD set finds the reggaeton duo Rakim & Ken-Y revisiting tracks from its 2006 album, MASTERPIECE. Highlights of the beat-driven collection include a reworking of the hit "Down" that finds the Puerto Rican pair collaborating with Hector "El Father" and a version of "Iqual Que ...

Tribute To The Legend Bob Marley
$16.19 In 1972, Stax Records was second only to Motown as America's most successful black-owned record company, and as part of an ambitious bid to grow into a multimedia empire, the Memphis-based label had opened offices in Los Angeles and was eager to announce its presence in the community. The Watts Summer Festival was an annual celebration staged in the beleaguered Watts neighborhood of L.A., a mostly African-American community that had been scarred by race riots in the late '60s, and in 1972 Stax did something special for the occasion: it staged an all-day concert at the Los Angeles Coliseum on the final day of the Watts festival, with nearly every artist on the Stax roster appearing live on-stage and tickets priced at only a dollar. Over 110, 000 people attended the show, a camera crew was on hand to ...
