This is the beginning . . . the first of many albums, the first of many bands who are defined by this mission statement â âWe have been put on this earth to touch the world for Jesus Christ through music, to be the best bands in the world known for loving Him.âThis is the paradigm shift . . . bands, musicians, writers, and leaders who are committed to Jesus Christ and the local church, yet still relevant to a dying world and uncompromising in their excellence. Bands who will love the Lord first, love His people in response, and point those who don't know Him to His church. This is the dream . . .a standard set so high that the lost will flood through the doors of the church to see these bands they've been hearing about, only to find Jesus when they get there. Bands who live for Christ, for the church, and for the lost. THIS is the revolution . . .Track Listing:1. I Am Home - Once So Far2. Still You Wait - Steele Croswhite3. In Your Arms - Normandy4. Revolution Vol. 1 music CDs
$13.19 "With a satisfying balance of both straight-on hooks and trippy explorations, Impossible Recording Machine has released an intoxicating album that whets the appetite for more." - Don Kline/All Music GuideAfter nearly a decade of writing music together, Matt Walker (Smashing Pumpkins, Filter, Cupcakes) and Jim Dinou (Exo) have decided to brave their perfectionist fear of completion and release the mania of their Impossible Recording Machine. An amalgamation of influences from pop to abstract, IRM began as a private outlet for genreless experimentation that eventually evolved into a new kind of band with an unusual spectrum of material. Matt and Jim allow their collective intuition to lead them to new and intriguing sonic worlds where they embrace things electric and acoustic, melodic and dissonant, disciplined and spontaneous, and weave them into IRM. Their self-produced debut album, Axioms, contains 15 tracks which blend seamlessly into one another while simultaneously building the foundation for the 3 "axioms" of IRM: inertia (the ambient tracks), acceleration (the instrumental tracks) and interaction (the pop tracks). Each axiom is represented by 5 tracks, but rather than moving in elementary fashion from one axiom to the next, all 15 tracks, like IRM's music itself, are woven together into one cohesive album. Already back in the studio, Matt and Jim plan to expand on their debut release with a 3-album box set where they will further explore and define the 3 axioms that make up their Impossible Recording Machine. Impossible Recording Machine is: Jim Dinou: piano, vx, keyboards, programming, saxes, guitar Matt Walker: drums, percussion, programming, guitar, bass
With Axioms, Impossible Recording Machine marks an impressive debut while adding another notch to the increasingly eclectic belt of Positron! Records (owned and run by Sister Machine Gun frontman Chris Randall). Running the gamut from jagged industrial clangs to wispy electronic murmurs, the album's 15 tracks forge through refreshingly original territory. Although Axioms ...
| | Viima Ajatuksia Maailman Laidalta CD (2006) (Import)
Revolution Vol. 1 songs
$17.99 The Finnish prog band Viima started in 1999 under the name Lost Spectacles. The band recorded one track âTuulee Niinâ that was included in âTuonen Tytarâ, a tribute to Finnish prog music released in Mellow Records label. Viima at the time of recording âAjatuksia mailman laidaltaâ consists of female vocalist PĂ€ivi KylmĂ€nen, keyboardist Kimmo LĂ€hteenmĂ€ki (who also played drums in the sessions), guitarist/flautist Mikko Uusi-Oukari and bass player Jarmo Kataja. The overall feel of the album tends towards a more folkish impression, particularly on opener Leijonan Syksy which has a light and breezy air that is all rather jolly. A couple of tidy and tuneful guitar solos are dispersed throughout the track with a dash of flute ...

Revolution Vol. 1 songs
$13.15 Linda Geleris demonstrates depth, imagination and musical versatility in her sophomore release âIf I Only Had a Minute.â There are songs about longing, leavinâ, lovinâ, living and lamenting the loss of departed friends and family members. The mood swings from serious to sweet, and from sorrow to sublimely silly. You will find good âold fashioned rock and roll,' a tender ballad, a country song (âNakedâ) and even an ode (to âArt Garfunkelâs Hair.â) âMy Version of Youâ is about her immigrant mother, who arrived on American soil as a teenager during the late 50s. With little information from her âproperâ mom, Linda uses her ripe imagination to âcreateâ ...
| | Demigod Of E 78TH ST Cast Recordings CD (2006)
Revolution Vol. 1 album
$16.45 MUSIC: Michael Bitterman BOOK & LYRICS: Dennis DrogsethThe Demigod of East 78th Street is a musical inspired by conventions in classical, 19th Century drawing room comedy. However in The Demigod, Victorian mentality is replaced by Upper Eastside mercantilism, and the Demigod is a short, pudgy and prone to allergies. Here he is trying to get New Yorkers â not just to loosen up, but to find the authentic human spark within them. In plot and tone, âThe Demigodâ is a modern âMid Summerâs Nightâs Dream,â in which enchantment becomes a profound, though comical, factor in rectifying real-world misalignments. The look and feel of the show should combine nostalgia for the 50âs, âgood-heartedâ comedies, with a touch of early 20th Century British sophistication (a mix of âI Love Lucyâ and Noel Coward) â even as the story itself unfolds in a contemporary, New York setting. It is a drawing room comedy, with a single, jewel-box-like set. The show opens with an aging Cyril Bright â trying to teach a class in art history about (How to Separate the Real from the Fake.) As he sings, the overwhelming events in his past exhaust him and he falls asleep on the podium. As dream and memory take over, the Demigod appears to a ...
