The composers, Larry Arone and Maite Garcia, hail from backgrounds as diverse as the music you’ll hear on the album, ‘Viejo Amor’. Garcia is 100% Chilean and is highly influenced by her folkloric roots. Arone, who is 100% North American, draws from his distinctive California roots. A traditional Latin Percussion Section of Congas, Timbales, Bongos and Bell combine with brass representation from Trumpet, Trombone, Sax, Flute, and Flugelhorn. Beautiful Piano montunos and lush string arrangements round out the instrumentation of the album. Maite gives today’s Latina a fresh voice.
