Deandre Over & Out Live CD

Over and Out Live is the new live album from DeAndre, the Eugene, Oregon-based arranger, songwriter, producer and singer. The CD includes songs from his acclaimed 2005 debut album Going Over and offers a tantalising glimpse of his third album, "Yield", due for release in the fall of 2007. The live album contains DeAndre's inspirational songs, some performed by and with local guest artists. What's more, his websites and blogsites will feature 'behind the scenes' footage, interviews and videos, to “Beautiful Dreams” and “One More Soul”.DeAndre’ is a sublime talent who combines a melting pot of influences to create an astounding and unique sound. He fuses his classical upbringing, modern pop, gospel, blues, jazz and rap into a style he describes as 'Healnotic'. He says: "I call my music 'Healnotic' for 'Heal Feel' music. It is fashioned to bring healing to the spirit with words that give life to the dignity of our being. It is healing to our soul because it engages the mind, will and emotion to experience art in a new and living way, and healing to our body because it makes you move."DeAndre’ was born in Sandusky, Ohio and has been involved with music since he was 10. He started songwriting in 1984 and developed over the next ten years both musically and vocally, until Jesus entered his life in 1993. In 1994 DeAndre’ started to take his art more seriously. He had soon taught himself guitar, piano and drums. The following years saw him have success with radio jingles and move his family to Eugene to take up full-time ministry. This began a busy time for DeAndre’, with him working with the gospel music department at the University of Oregon and conferences, one of which that featured the renowned gospel group, Virtue. He also collaborated with local musician Mat Kearney (Nothing Left to Lose), the two recording a single that remains unreleased, and Nashville-based producer Robert “Aurel M” Marvin. In 2005 he started his own label, Triumph Records, and released Going Over, a remarkable accomplishment.Backed up by a magnificent band including his wife Dawn Cole on vocals, Over and Out Live promises to truly communicate DeAndre's musical vision, and offers a wonderful example of his live show.
