That's me... T.T.!!!Terence Theriot (T.T. for short) was born in Texas. Although he was reared and currently lives in Thibodeaux, LA, he frequently moved about due to his father being in the military service.T.T. always had an interest in music. He started writing poetry - which, later, he would translate into rap lyrics- - -around 1992/1993.T.T. started rapping about 1997. His admiration for rap artists such as Tupac, DMX, Eight Ball, MJG, and Enimem help to increase his awareness for the art. In 2000, he was a member of a rap group called Solz-Uv-Broz in which he did his first recording. Their first independent LP/CD called "Dusty Roads" was also created at that time. Unfortunately, it and the group flopped. Later, as a solo artist, he signed a contract with a local independent label/C-Tracey Enterprises in 2002. He began working on an LP/CD called "Time In Between" that was not completed due to the folding of the company. However, he did manage to complete a maxi-single CD called "Why" in which he is currently attempting to market and promote himself. Although he has gone through these experiences, he feels that they have taught him lessons about life, which has only made him stronger. Also, he expresses that those experiences reflect his description of his hip hop-based music>>>as reality. He further explains that his belief in GOD is deeply embedded in his music. Additionally, he states that in order for people to relate to what he is saying that they would have to look and listen in between the lines to see where it all stems from. He finalizes that he only wants to be heard and understood! T T Why (Me, Tell Me)? Songs | 1. | Why (Me, Tell Me)? [Extended Play] |

Why (Me, Tell Me)? album
$9.58 Had Clipse made a concerted attempt to outstrip Hell Hath No Fury, Til the Casket Drops would have likely come out sounding like self-parody. The Thorntons' previous set was so cold, lean, and efficient, the product of the circumstances under which it was made, that it is impossible to imagine an album of identical makeup trumping it. So, for the most part, Pusha T and Malice approached their third album -- their first for Columbia -- as a reflection of where they were at when they recorded it. And while nine of its 13 tracks were produced by the Neptunes, who were operating at the top of their game throughout Hell Hath No Fury, the beats here are busier, fuller-sounding, and they mingle well with the productions that come from DJ Khalil and Sean C & LV. In order to be heard over these relatively large-scale productions, the Thorntons often break from the distanced ferocity for ...
| | Rakim Seventh Seal CD (2009) Digipak
Why (Me, Tell Me)? CD music
$13.29 The long-anticipated third album from Rakim took a decade to arrive, but rabid fans should be warned that this is not a case of "ten years in the making". Nothing here is over two years old, so none of the unreleased Dr. Dre tracks fans have hoped for are included, but chances are they wouldn't have fit. With most songs focusing on the chorus, The Seventh Seal strives to connect with a 2009 audience and enlists vocalists like Maino plus producers like Nottz, Needlz, and Jake One to get the job done. Rakim himself is in fine form, showing the current generation "How to ...

| | Notorious B I G Life After Death CDs (1997)
Why (Me, Tell Me)? album
$19.29 LIFE AFTER DEATH was nominated for a 1998 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. "Hypnotize" was nominated for a 1988 Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance. "Mo Money Mo Problems" was nominated for a 1998 Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group.
The double-CD LIFE AFTER DEATH arrives in stores, ironically and tragically, less than three weeks after the Notorious B.I.G. was killed in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles. Biggie Smalls, as he was known, quickly became one of rap's most respected MCs after the 1994 release of his debut album, READY TO DIE. His music sparked the comeback of East Coast hip-hop, while his very being added fire to rap's over-publicized East-West rivalry. For some (see "Playa Hater"), Biggie's success was too much to handle, and he became a primary target in hip-hop's continuing feud. Never feeding into that war on wax, B.I.G. chose to remain silent, until LIFE AFTER DEATH became a reality, and the situation spoke for itself.
Although song titles like "You're Nobody (Til Somebody Kills You)" eerily mirror the real-life tragedy, the music on LIFE AFTER DEATH serves to bring the Notorious B.I.G. back to life. As anything ...
| | Very Best Of The Spinners CD (1993)
Why (Me, Tell Me)? CD music
$7.99 The Spinners were rivaled only by the O'Jays as the greatest Philly soul group, and for that matter the greatest vocal group of the '70s. For listeners who don't want to dig as deeply as the excellent double-CD anthology One of a Kind Love Affair, Rhino's The Very Best of the Spinners is a stellar single-disc career summary that offers a concentrated dose of the group's sweet soul magic. It also serves as a primer on the best work of Thom Bell, Philly soul's "other" great producer besides the legendary Gamble & Huff team. Incredibly, every one of the 16 tracks here -- culled from 1970-1980 -- reached the R&B Top Ten, and half went all the way to number one on either the pop or R&B lists. As this collection demonstrates, the Spinners' massive popularity was well-deserved. Built around the magnetic leads of Philippe Wynne, their records were tastefully, elegantly romantic, full of adult heartache and longings as complex as the group's shifting harmonies. The compilers also license the pre-Wynne Motown hit "It's a Shame," co-written by Stevie ...

| | Grey Milk Strong Bones And Teeth CD (2006)
Why (Me, Tell Me)? album
$5.99 Grey Milk is the moniker of Massachusetts-raised songwriter, guitarist, vocalist, and performer Jesse Houle. He writes folk-inspired songs with collaborator Dylan Clark, also a longtime Massachusetts resident, and drummer. Grey Milk's songs could be considered acoustic modern folk music funneled through a filter of punk rock, post-punk, classic rock, and indie aesthetics. The group unabashedly embraces its musical roots across the musical spectrum: classic rock bands such as The Who and Creedence Clearwater Revival, punk rock groups including Piebald and Lagwagon, alternative acts such as Ben Folds Five and Guster, and indie rockers like Ted Leo and Fugazi. Lyrics focus on both the personal and the global, the philosophical and the empirical. These are songs of love, loss, regret, hope, triumph, politics, optimism, pessimism, ...
