"Strong powerful musicianship combined with intense lyrics straight from the heart" - All Access Magazine / Mar. 2007-----------------Judge Jackson Todd McTavish - VocalsRyan Rogers - BassLee Jackson - GuitarJ.J. Garcia - Drums This Los Angeles based group formed in the summer of '95 when Guitarist Lee Jackson, Singer Todd McTavish and Bassist Ryan Rogers met through a mutual musician friend. They immediately bonded and discovered a strong musical chemistry between them, thus Judge Jackson was born! In less then 2 years of forming, the band produced 2 CD's independently and developed a hard core following on the West Coast. After a few years of performing regionally, the band started writing songs for the next recording. In 2003, One Diamond was completed and instantly became a fan favorite with many. At years end, One Diamond collected several awards including 'Best CD of the Year' and 'Song of the Year' for the opening track 'King' at the All Access Magazine Music Awards. During 2004, the band focused on writing songs and worked to develop a business plan to help them maximize opportunities in an ever-changing music industry. As changes transpired and the dust finally settled, Drummer J.J. Garcia joined the fold permanently. Judge Jackson, now solidified and revitalized, was ready to take the band to another level! In 2005, due to strong word of mouth and demand, One Diamond was re-released nationwide and the band toured across the US several times to support it. 'Amazing' and 'Times Been Changin' from this revitalized release received airplay on over 35 radio stations across the country! Exposure via internet radio shows helped introduce the music of Judge Jackson all over the world and expanded their fan base. By the end of 2005, the band performed close to 150 shows and now was looking toward the future. In 2006, Judge Jackson reached new plateaus in all aspects of the band!In March, 'Times Been Changin' hit the primetime and was featured in the NBC TV show 'My Name Is Earl'. Toward the end of April, the band performed at 24th Annual Laughlin River Run at The Edgewater Casino and Hotel in front of thousands with much success. In the meantime, the group was gaining notoriety as a popular support act appearing with UFO, Blues Guitar hero Joe Bonamassa,Gov't Mule, Cheap Trick, Doobie Bros. , and many others, to new and welcoming audiences. As summer approached, 'King' was embraced by Fox Sports Network/FSN to head up there 2006 NHL Playoff campaign. This exposure along with the song being played at the arenas of the playoff games, introduced it to millions of hockey fans across the US! A revised version of 'King' has been tapped as the new theme song for the Speed Channel/NASCAR program Victory Lane. The band is slated to perform and film at upcoming NASCAR races to be aired in the near future! August of '06, the band performed at The Loud American Roadhouse in Sturgis, SD for the 66th Annual Sturgis Bike Rally to overwhelming response and fanfare. During all this, the band made time to enter Prairie Sun Studios in Northern California with producer/engineer, John Hiler (Stephan Stills, Smashing Pumpkins, Willie Dixon, etc...) to record the bands most anticipated release to date. Simply titled, Judge Jackson, this new disc features 10 tracks, each with it's own story to tell in the new chapter of the band. Judge Jackson album
$14.38 Glitter and Doom Live, a double-disc set, marks Tom Waits' third live effort in his nearly 40-year career, each one summing up his career to the point of its release. The first, Nighthawks at the Diner issued in 1975 on Asylum, is regarded by many as one of the greatest live albums of all time. The second was Big Time, released during his tenure at Island in 1986. The musical performances on disc one of Glitter and Doom Live were culled from Waits' historic sold-out tour of the U.S. and Europe. He compiled and sequenced the ...

$13.15 AN ENCHANTED EVENING was nominated for a 1996 Grammy Award for Best New Age Album.
Released in the mid-'90s in conjunction with a video of the same name, AN ENCHANTED EVENING is a live recreation of most of Kitaro's 1994 guitar-heavy album, MANDALA. Sensitive renditions of "Silk Road" (Kitaro's most-record tune) and the sweeping "Heaven and Earth," from the soundtrack of Oliver Stone's film, round out the program.

| | Evangeline Felt Like Home CD (2001)
Judge Jackson CD music
$12.69 While the majority of alt-country acts seem determined to prove how tough they can sound before going into the token crying-in-my-beer number, Evangeline plays from the heart from front to back on their debut album, Felt Like Home, and the effect is both refreshing and emotionally compelling. Evangeline's influences seem more strongly rooted in '70s country-rock and singer/songwriter styles than most of their contemporaries, but without the smug excess of the Eagles or the bombast of the traditional Southern rock crews; instead, Evangeline aims for an intelligent but uncluttered approach, with arrangements that know what to make of subtle dynamics and songs that digs into the nooks and crannies of human lives with a wisdom that's both hard-won and eloquently expressed. Chris Cline's songs are melodic and heart-tugging, and his lyrics paint highly expressive portraits with very few words (the album's first line, "She was born on an island/She hates the water," paints a truer portrait in ten words than many bands can conjure with an entire album). Cline is a solid guitarist to boot, and his craggy but comfortable vocals have character to spare, while his vocal partner, Jennifer Potter (who sings lead on six of the ten cuts), does splendid work either taking the lead or blending into seamless harmonies with Cline. The performances are short on flash but long on resonance, and Kevin Suggs' clear and straightforward production gives the band's virtues the focus they deserve. Felt Like Home is a strong, beautifully crafted album that offers all the proof listeners might need that Evangeline is a group to watch. ~ ...

| | February March City Of Glass CD (2006)
Judge Jackson songs
$9.85 The February March has taken another big step forward with their new album "City of Glass". With financial backing from the Swiss label B&C Entertainment, the Vancouver four-piece, previously named "Formula" recorded the album in February and March 2006 with producer Mark Henning. "City of Glass" is a collection of 11 songs ranging from the gritty, Springsteen-esque Street Signs, to the organ-drenched epic Something Easy. The album is the product of six months of hard work holed up in an attic in the Vancouver suburbs where the band wrote 50 songs, only selecting the best for recording. With a penchant for brilliant melodies and dense sonic tapestry, the February Marchs unerring pop sensibility draws comparisons to bands such as Snow Patrol, Bruce Springsteen, The Killers, and Coldplay. When it came to the lyrics, Joel, a devout but modest Christian, tackled ...
| | Jim Wurster Hallelujah CD (2007)
Judge Jackson album
$10.15 Singer-songwriter Jim Wurster mines the same field as he did on his previous, more-rocking effort, Wake Up!, which was recorded with his sometime band, The Atomic Cowboys. Lucky for Wurster, that field -- the many foibles of the Bush administration and the ongoing shame of the Iraq War -- is a mother lode for acerbic ...
