Adopting the catch phrase pop rock truth, Brian has set his sights on creating music that is both memorable and full of raw honest emotion. "Music has been quite a spiritual and exciting journey for me", says Brian. "Ever since picking up my first Nirvana record as a kid, and later on discovering The Beatles, I realized my passion for writing great songs".Since beginning his musical journey in the mid nineties, Brian has written and recorded seven albums worth of original music, and also dozens of other songs and demos that have yet to see the light of day. Brian's style can be compared to artists such as Elvis Costello, Relient K, Weezer, and Billy Joel. The content of Brian's songs revolve around his life experiences. Being married, working dead-end jobs, having a family, and being a Christian, provide inspiration and lyric to the natural pattern of melodies that seem to flow constantly. "I take what God's done in my life, package it in a nice verse-chorus-verse format, and use it to bring hope to a sometimes hopeless world".www.brian-jones.net www.myspace.com/brianjonesrockAll music & photos © 2007 Brian Jones Brian Jones Something More Songs | 1. | Always On My Mind |

$10.49 There's no shortage of legendary producers in line to work with music world titans U2; when work with Rick Rubin broke off, Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois stepped in. The resulting NO LINE ON THE HORIZON, 2009's offering from the Irish rockers, continues in the grand U2 tradition, as soaring pop anthems like opening single "Get on Your Boots" pair with experimental melanges like "Tripoli," on a striking album featuring touches of all the albums come before, yet hinting at new worlds for Bono to conquer.

$12.65 Phenomenon is the proper description of a mastermind and TRU-G is better known as the Southern Phenomenon. This mastermind is a ripe 19 years young with a musical journey in sight that promises thriving significant words delivered with a whirlwind of club thumpin' self-produced tracks, and he'd like to take you on his journey.TRU-G's "sandpaper and gravel" vocal cords are coupled with an unashamedly Louisiana accent. He's been tagged as the new Mystikal. Consequently, TRU-G wrote a song about the unfortunate tag titled, "I'm Sick of this Sh*t". TRU-G has established himself as an exceedingly popular performer throughout the southern region of the states and is progressively taking the necessary steps forward to take the nation swiftly. His album, "And Then There Was One" is scheduled for release January 2006. The title of the album derived from his situation of him being in two groups of 12 members total at one time. Whatever the circumstances, they were unable to stay together as a group. TRU-G says that after all the years of back-biting, back-stabbing, people burning him and holding him down he felt the title of his album was appropriate; "And Then There Was One"!Born as Tierriri J. Franklin, II in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; TRU-G was destined to make his mark in the music industry. The handsome young 6ft gent began producing tracks at the age of 13, not only for himself but for other artists in his area. In 2001, TRU-G and his mother formed a production company called T.A.L.I. Entertainment. T.A.L.I. stands for "Thuggin' and Lovin' It". TRU-G has opened shows for: Master P, The Big Tymers, Lil Wayne, T-Bo, Krazy, Juvenile, B.G., Soulja Slim, C-Loc, Mystikal and many more... When asked what are his most favorable characteristics he emphatically states, "My one of a kind personality, you gotta love some TRU-G". While he's not in the studio laying down his tracks, TRU-G enjoys video production, designing clothes and watching a good game of football.TRU-G surveys that some of today's music listeners are looking for situations in the artists life; placed over a nice track which allows the listeners to identify with and possibly bring them closer to the artist, whether it's a storyline song or a club hopping track. He has the ingredients to do just that. It's good gumbo! In the later parts of the summer of 2004, TRU-G signed with an independent label; ...
| | Stefanie Powers On The Same Page CD (2003)
Something More album
$21.49 The last time most listeners heard Stefanie Powers even go through the motions of singing was 40 years ago, when she appeared in some unfortunate musical sequences in tandem with Jerry Van Dyke in the comedy Western McLintock! Evidently she does have musical inclinations, which may suit her and her accompanist/arranger/collaborator, Page Cavanaugh, but they only carry her for part of this album. She starts off with the playful "They All Laughed," with a lilt in her voice that carries Powers past her limited range. She is far more successful on the reflective Rodgers & Hart ballad "He Was Too Good to Me," from Simple Simon, where she intones every note like it was written for her. She also acquits herself well on the moodier "Where Are You?" and the lighthearted "I've Got a Feelin' You're Foolin'" (joined by Eddie Collins), and the highlight of the album is "Last Night When We Were Young," rescued from the obscurity ...

$6.69 Over the past couple of years, after the demise of his previous band, Broke, J.B. wrote several new songs. Disillusioned from the aggrivation of his last band experience, he had no intent on forming another band, even though he recorded his own demo of his new music. However, after having several of his friends tell him that the music has a lot of potential, J.B. decided to finally start a new band. After several months of jamming with different drummers and bassists, J.B. was about to give up the idea of forming a band until he randomly came across Kyle Griffin, a drummer from Howell NJ who has been looking to form a band for several years. Kyle's influences and style stem from his progressive rock background...but even though J.B.'s songs weren't exactly progressive rock, Kyle liked what he heard and decided to give it a try. Kyle learned a handful of J.B.'s songs prior to their first practice, and after jamming a few times, the two decided to form ProtoAvis. ProtoAvis is a name J.B. had for many years, and thought it would be a really cool name for a band. Soon thereafter, ProtoAvis ("PA" for short) was invited to play at an annual rock festival in New Hampshire only three short weeks away, so that left the two to find a bassist AND learn 12+ songs in such a short period of time. Then came Brian Blanchard, an accomplished bassist from Northern NJ who has been looking to play in a rock band. J.B. answered his ad online on a musicians website. Brian took a listen ...
