Jackson's domination of the world record market continued following Thriller, although by comparison it was an almighty flop with only 12 million sales. As Pink Floyd and Dire Straits have proved, one album can go completely sales haywire without necessarily being any better. The title track and the gorgeous "Man In The Mirror" were substantial hits, but quality material such as "Dirty Diana" and "Liberian Girl" bolster a strong album. Jackson ...

| | Michael Jackson Number Ones CD (2003)
Micmac Now! The Dance Remixes album
$9.55 The 1990s may not have been kind to Michael Jackson on a commercial level, due to fickle music tastes and assorted personal controversies, but NUMBER ONES reinforces Jackson's place in pop culture history. Unlike its preceding compilation, HIStory, this anthology trims the fat, although occasionally going overboard in leaving off certified chart-toppers like the Paul McCartney duet "Say Say Say" in lieu of lesser-known, latter-day fare like "Earth Song."
That said, casual fans of the Gloved One will still feast on plenty, ranging from dance classics like "Don't Stop 'Til ...

Micmac Now! The Dance Remixes CD music
$8.15 THE VERY BEST OF THE DRIFTERS features 16 tracks recorded between 1959 and 1964. Includes historic black and white photographs and liner notes by Steve Propes.
THE VERY BEST is a definitive anthology of the Drifters' most fertile and commercially successful period (1959-64), after their initial early '50s rock hits with lead vocalist Clyde McPhatter. During this period, the group was essentially the mouthpiece for the boundless imagination of the greatest of the Brill Building songwriters.
As a result, what ...

Micmac Now! The Dance Remixes songs
$26.79 BLOOM is a 22-track release by producers Gabriel & Dresden - Josh Gabriel and Dave Dresden - and includes "Arcadia," "Here Is The House," and "Voices," and includes their remixes for artists including Dido and Above And Beyond.
Although this is the duo's debut album, Josh Gabriel and Dave Dresden have been influential figures on the club music scene for some time, remixing tracks by the likes of Annie Lennox ("Pavement Cracks"), Sarah McLachlan ("Fallen"), and even Britney Spears ("Me Against the Music"). For Bloom, Gabriel & Dresden pulled together a handful of tracks by artists they're especially enthusiastic about (including McLachlan, Guy Gerber, Audioholics, and Above & Beyond) and packed them in among original material from their back catalog and a few new compositions written just for this album. The result is an impressive two-disc set of stylistically varied club music on which the occasional disappointments (Gerber's awful "Stoppage Time," Lili Haydn's barely tolerable "Anything") are nicely outweighed by such moments of brilliance as Andain's gorgeous cover of the Depeche Mode chestnut "Here Is the House" and a truly spectacular remix of Dido's "Don't Leave Home." Sarah McLachlan's contribution is a lovely little song called "World On Fire," presented here in a Junkie XL club mix that would have been killer if he had just kicked up the funk ...
