| | Uriah Heep Raging Silence CD (1989) Import
Fourth Dimension songs
$12.79 Uriah Heep is one of the few heavy metal/hard rock outfits that can rival Deep Purple when it comes to an abundance of personnel changes; you could write a book about the many different Uriah Heep lineups that existed in the 1970s and 1980s. Because it was such a revolving door, its work became increasingly erratic as time passed -- many headbangers gave up on the band in the late '70s. Recorded in 1988 and 1989 and released in April 1989, Raging Silence is the work of a band that was long past its prime. On this CD, the five-man lineup includes founder/guitarist Mick Box as well as lead singer Bernie Shaw, bassist Trevor Bolder, keyboardist Phil Lanzon, and drummer Lee Kerslake. The material is generic arena rock -- try as it might, Uriah Heep is unable to recapture the magic and creativity of its early years. Corporate rock items like "Cry Freedom" and "Blood Red Roses" ...

| | Philip Martin Saxappeal CD (2006)
Fourth Dimension music CDs
$9.75 The talented Phillip Martin, is diffusing smooth jazz across the genres. His unique style and fresh sounds are inviting to all and will no longer be “just wallpaper”, says Martin. His newly released CD, Saxappeal Special Edition, on Saxtime! Entertainment truly shows his drive and desire to share his creations with the world. Saxappeal is an amazing mix of soul and spunk. He was given plenty of room while recording in Orlando and Los Angeles to deliver his own expressions and style. “Phillip's music has the energy of a live club recording …sadly missing from most smooth jazz artists these days,” says Jeff Lorber, legendary smooth jazz artist who added a touch of his own to the keys with Martin on the song “The Way.” At the early age of nine, the Indiana native first heard his bellowing wails of the alto saxophone and immediately knew this would be his destiny. Martin demonstrates a natural ability for playing and creating a sound that is much stronger than the normal melodic music heard before. His compositions range from powerful blows to sweet and subtle emotions. Gauging by his experience and professionalism, you'd never guess saxophonist Phillip Martin is only in his early twenties. Martin was born on August 22nd of 1979. He was introduced to the saxophone by the Florida school system. Unlike many other children his age, he picked up the sax with ease. At the age of fourteen, people started to recognize his talents. After a couple years and many hours of practice, Martin became the leading soloist of The South Plantation High School Jazz Band and All State Jazz band member. Through the admiration of his peers and accolades he was given the nickname “Sax Man.” He then went on to play for University of Central Florida. During this time he was invited to play with artists such as: Grammy winner Sam Rivers, Grammy nominee Kirk Whalum, Sunnie ...

Fourth Dimension songs
$10.15 Jody Schneider doesn’t expect a record deal. The world of the over-produced divas and manufactured pop idols may still be the way to make millions, but she isn’t concerned. Thanks to the epidemic evolution of digital downloads and internet marketing, fans are once embracing the many talented singer/songwriters who, not so long ago, were relegated to tiny coffee houses and smoky bars, virtually unseen and unheard.Coming from the small town of Boyle in Northern Alberta, Schneider’s music is heavily influenced by Canada’s rich musical traditions. Her compatriots may recognize hints of Sarah McLachlan, Chantal Kreviazuk, Jann Arden and Alanis Morisette, ...
