Before becoming a star as the smartest judge on the TV smash AMERICAN IDOL, Randy Jackson was a noted producer, songwriter, and session musician. In the manner of Quincy Jones's terrific albums from the 1980s and '90s, Jackson structures RANDY JACKSON'S MUSIC CLUB as a various artists record in all but name, with a variety of singers and musicians working in dance, rock, pop, and R&B forms. Highlights include Paula Abdul's Cher-like comeback single, "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow," and Mariah Carey's gospel workout, "Understand." Other guests include Jason Mraz, Travis Tritt, Sam Moore, and Joss Stone. Randy Jackson's Music Club Music Randy Jackson's Music Club Songs Randy Jackson's Music Club Review

After the immense success of the original and very American Nuggets box, Rhino was all too happy to scan the remainder of the globe for further forays in garage rock obscurity. Covering the nether regions of 1964-'69, Nuggets II is a virtually hitless, yet absolutely priceless, collection of mod, psychedelic, British R&B, freakbeat, twee-pop, and countless other momentary genres. | | Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society CD (1968) (Import) England; Remastered; United Kingdom
Randy Jackson's Music Club CD music
$25.59 Contains original 15-track mono album as well as 12-track stereo version.
It's easy to imagine the confusion with which this manifesto for the defense of the status quo was received on its release in 1968. The world was in turmoil and the pose of the Street Fighting Man, rebellious and politically aware, was far sexier than the quaint homebody image the Kinks present here. The title track finds Ray Davies proudly declaring himself a preservationist of custard pies, vaudeville, and such comic book characters as Desperate Dan. However, these slices of suburban life have weathered a lot better than most ...

| | Natasha Bedingfield Pocketful Of Sunshine CD (2007)
Randy Jackson's Music Club album
$11.29 In 2008 popster Natasha Bedingfield dropped a finely constructed, hook-filled effort in POCKETFUL OF SUNSHINE. Rootsy and groove-oriented, but with plenty of contemporary R&B studio polish (a combo especially evident on the reggae-inflected standout "Love Like This," featuring Sean Kingston), POCKETFUL manages to be both laid-back and glamorous at once.
Bedingfield is equally adept at breezy, catchy dance-pop (the title track) as she is at heart-tugging love ballads ("Soulmate"). Sharp productions, head-nodding beats, singalong choruses, and Bedingfield's smooth, appealing vocals make POCKETFUL go down easy, and will keep fans coming back to these tracks again and again.

Randy Jackson's Music Club songs
$13.89 Every Time I Die began turning heads in the hardcore community with their debut release, Burial Plot Bidding War, which was released on a small independent Canadian label called Good Fellow Records. Ferret Records caught wind of this phenomenal upstate New York quintet and quickly secured them with a record deal, and soon thereafter Last Night in Town emerged. This album is a cathartic, chaotic release, finding Every Time I Die careening from metalcore crunch to exhausting screamo and even meandering into slightly ...
