| | Chipz Da General Vol. 1-Leader Of The New Skool CD (2006)
Oum Ou'Af music CDs
$5.99 Welcome to the world of CHIPZ DA GENERAL, born Shakir Seagers, repping the Bronx and Kingsbridge until the cradle rock. Chipz have wrote rhymes since He was 9 years old, I remember me writing my first rap on the Amtrak with my big brother Cashes right they’re encouraging me and showing me the ropes,Chipz Recalls. At his early stage of his rap career Chipz would enter numerous street battles and showcases ripping anybody who stepped to the plate. Violator Records wanted Chipz during his Young Pup Years but said he was too harsh for he age so that deal went out the window. As Chipz Remembers, they never sat and listen to any songs they went off seeing me at open mic rap battles. But hey it's their lost! In my years on this earth Chipz has been through a lot of pain and struggling losing his Mother, his Grandfather, and his Best friend; an he knows them or his living family wouldn't want but the best for him. After 5 years of interning at Source Magazine Chipz inherited what Gotti, Boo, and Tory taught him about the industry. As he got into a lot of trouble with the law that kind of threw his ball career away and made him turn to the streets and music. Constant run-ins with law enforcements over the following years made him decide to leave the streets alone and make Chipz take his pen full-fledged without looking back. With the encouragement of family and friends and M.O.P’S Road Manager Foxx Chipz was very eager to get into the studio. After years of observing the industry, Da General got a chance to travel to Miami to vacate. But That Change as the sunshine state welcomed him, as he was one of their own. Bumping his demo CD in their cars and headphones he must admit he was feeling himself. The whole vacation went out the window and he did nothing but promote, getting a chance to run into the likes of Lady Luck and Juvenile made him want to get home and work. And when he got back from Miami he was in the studio banging out some songs. Chipz recieved a call from luck herself, telling him she wanted to work. It was on from there! After dropping his first mixtape (moved 1500 units) Chipz knew he was headed for stardom. Especially after hip hop was pronounced dead he new if he had one chance to get in the door he would fall in line with the rest of hip hop's icons. He then started hitting showcases at club pyramid, remote lounge, Manny's lounge, and a few other big spots across the five boroughs and that got Da General a bigger buzz; after that he started getting calls from DJ's in Germany and radio stations in London and knew all hard work was about to pay off. He was then Crowned for artist of the month on rapmullet.com (Oct 06') and then nominated again in (Dec 06) Was The Websites Artist Spotlight on www.Defsounds.com (Dec 06'-Feb 07). And he also was on the radio in Chicago (BMS Radio), London (Talk Inc Radio, North Carolina, D.C and Virginia (88.1 WXDU) and has been featured on today's biggest station for unsign artist to shine Xm 66 Raw. He was also been featured in a source hip hop ads (June05' & Dec 06') he also has wrote for the Source Mag (April 05) and Foundation Mag (Dec 06 @nd Issue). Starting After The New Year Chipz is to appear on DJ T-Money Mixtape Let The Games Begin 07'(PA) and is to have mixtapes hosted by DJ Block (PA), DJ Deals(NY), DJ Vlad and DJ L-Gee of Black Wall Street East. Chipz has taken all his pain, all of ...
