When I played the first Mercenaries game, I always wondered what it would be like to play with a buddy. The second game was touted as just that, a game for you and a friend. It was to feature the same kind of co-op as Lego Star Wars and Lego Indiana Jones, which makes sense seeing as how they are both connected to the same parent company. When I got my copy, I put it in my XBOX and away I went. There is almost nothing you can't do in this game. Buy it, drive it, or steal it; it doesn't matter as long as you do it. The graphics are gorgeous, the vehicles are many and varied, and the destructions is legendary. I was on the edge of Heaven, and then, my brother came home from school, and we decided to try the co-op. sadly, we found out that the promised co-op was there, but it was an on-line co-op and not the co-op that had been promised. We then proceeded to get into a fight over whose turn is was to play since we can't afford to do like so many people and buy another XBOX. This is the only drawback to an otherwise great gaming experience.

 Goog game, but bellow expected
The playability, graphics and story is quite great, but not as fantastic as previously advertised

the ps2 version
i rented the ps2 version and it is completely different than the 360 and ps3 versions. there are no pistols,no motorcycles,no garbage trucks and no grappling hooks for the helicopters. i was so pissed off i almost broke the t.v. so do not get ps3 version. also there is a bunch of other things that aren't in it.
