| | Stan Sheley CD Stan Sheley Discography of CDs
Stan Sheley grew up in Georgia, attended college in Alabama and Louisiana, and then wound up teaching college in the Atlanta area starting in the mid 90s. A guitar player off and on most of his life, Sheley says that in 2004 he started sensing new possibilities in the music he was making. He began playing drums, bass, and finally harmonica; he also began performing and recording.Sheley's musical style could best be described as folk-rock, with some obvious blues, pop, and country influences. But his original songs, melodic and evocative, are essentially unique, and reflect the sureness of someone who believes he's in the right place at the right time. Stan Sheley Songs | 1. | Lucinda |

Stan Sheley
$21.94 When Anthrax released AMONG THE LIVING in 1987, the band was a part of a then-burgeoning heavy metal sub-genre called speed or thrash metal. This was an inversion of glam metal. The band members wore worn-out jeans and T-shirts, their long hair was hairspray-free, and not a smudge of make-up was applied to their unsightly mugs. Their music was dense, borrowing speed from punk and hardcore and mammoth guitar riffing from metal, and featured ...

| | Steve Boller Somebody Else CD (2006)
Stan Sheley
$7.49 More Info Available From www.SteveBoller.com! "It has been an unfortunate side-effect of the modern age that alongside with the creation of marvels like the Internet, we have allowed ourselves to expect a certain amount of technological interference in the music we enjoy. Luckily we have musicians like Steve to help remind us how rewarding a simple melody and honest words can be. Sometimes optimistic, sometimes defeated, Somebody Else offers you a window into the world of backyard jams that we singer/songwriters call home. So this new fangled era isn’t all bad, right? At least it gave you the opportunity to find this website and Steves music. Now be quiet and enjoy."-Stephen Covell17 year-old Steve Boller has certainly taken on a great undertaking at a tender age. His debut album, “Somebody Else”, is at a caliber beyond his years. Filled with well-crafted song structures, ear-catching choruses, and verses filled with meaning and aesthetic pleasure for the eardrums, “Somebody Else” is certainly worth every penny. Recorded in Boller’s home with no outside help except for mastering, the 10-song disc has been compared in style to that of popular artists such as Jack Johnson, John Mayer, and Jason Mraz. The CD takes the listener through a whirlwind journey of real, honest emotion, thought, and question. From the irresistible opening riff of “Give Me a Sign” to the haunting ending of “Good Night”, Steve’s first effort leaves the listener hanging on a thread, ready to make the journey once again.Other Reviews"Most seventeen year old musicians are trying to find that special garage that provides the best feel for the music they are playing. Thoughts about being a business savvy musician are something that is at times missed by the younger generation. While youth has traditionally been able to produce decent music throughout the years, finding a young musician that cares first about the quality of the music that he/she is producing and secondly about how to generate an ever growing fan base is something that is at times lost. However, a young musician hailing from New Palestine, Indiana has launched himself into a truly inspiring musical career at only the age of seventeen. Steve Boller has gone out and grabbed the music industry that to many musicians remains aloof and distant and demanded that his music be respected, listened to, and purchased. A solo artist, Boller has produced a phenomenal debut album entitled Somebody Else . This album is Boller's two-fold attempt to create an album that is musically impressive but also to gain an entrepreneurial edge in the industry by also marketing and selling his own albums. Having first sold his album in a local coffee shop in his hometown, Boller has now launched ...

Stan Sheley
$16.45 Refreshingly new but comfortably exuding the free spirit of the late 1960s - Robbie Smith is now in the house with the appropriately titled CD "Retro Debut" introducing 14 widely diverse original songs. Robbie has been writing since the age of 11 and has stockpiled a huge repertoire of folk, pop, nostalgia, love, reggae, jazz and world material. After a long battle with rhumatic fever in his teens and 20s, Robbie concentrated all of his energies on honing his songwriting and playing skills. His songs caught the attention of the program director of the Radio Station of the New York Times a few years ago - and many were played on the then syndicated show, "Woody's Children". Robbie got a chance to share the stage with Pete Seeger on a live broadcast from New York City. In the early 1980s, Internationally known Balladeer, Roger Whittaker recorded 4 of ...
