Radio CD Soundtrack album
$9.58 The second Glee soundtrack throws a bone to the show's supporting characters, with Jenna Ushkowitz (the faux-stuttering Tina) singing her first solo and Amber Riley (Mercedes) receiving a larger chunk of airtime. Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison continue to steal the show, though; Morrison delivers one of the album's most inventive songs with a mash-up of "Don't Stand So Close to Me" and "Young Girl," while Michele sings the absolute pants off of everything the producers give her. The album sometimes strays away from choral arrangements and focuses on individual actors, but it's hard not to sing along with a song like "Jump," where the cast replaces Eddie Van Halen's keyboard riff with bright choral harmonies. ~ Andrew Leahey
The second Glee soundtrack feels a bit rushed, arriving no less than four weeks after Vol. 1's release and featuring songs from half as many episodes. Returning fans will still find a lot to enjoy here, ...

Radio CD Soundtrack CD music
$10.39 Broadway musical JERSEY BOYS brings to the stage the story of 1960s singing sensations Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, recounting their rise from working-class kids to pop-music superstars. The soundtrack, naturally, is filled with Four Seasons hits, including timeless classics like "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry," and "December 1963 (Oh, What A Night)." Interspersed between the songs are snippets of dialogue from the play, and the actors playing the Four Seasons nail the group's famous vocal harmonies impressively. ...

Radio CD Soundtrack album
$6.75 Neil Diamond's revisiting of the 1927 Al Jolson classic THE JAZZ SINGER (the first film to feature synchronized sound) keeps to the story of the original film; a young Jewish man turns his back on his heritage in an attempt to make it big in show business. Naturally, Diamond penned the music for his version of THE JAZZ SINGER himself, and the soundtrack was a phenomenal commercial success. Three of the songs here should be instantly familiar to anyone who drew a breath in the early '80s: the tender ballad "Hello Again," the haunting, swirling "Love On the Rocks," and the swelling patriotism of "America."
In between are the hand-clapping groovers "You Baby" and ...

Radio CD Soundtrack music CDs
$15.95 Rivalry, realization, and resilience are the three R's which best describe the formation of Tomorrow's Excuse. The history of this modest, hard working, and deeply committed quartet can be traced back to the mid-90's when a scrawny, shy kid named Mat Bowman moved in across the street from the born and raised Cambridge native Steve Wallace. That friendly game of baseball one August afternoon quickly turned to discussions about their mutual interest in Rock and Roll, which followed the boys into their high school years. It was there where they met Mike Meacher, and where a deep seeded rivalry began!About the only thing Mike and Steve had in common during their early teens was an undying love for that awe inspiring instrument, the electric guitar. As members of rival bands they sought only to outplay, outperform, and down right humiliate each other with their six-stringed talent. At points, this rivalry became so intense that it threatened the stability of each other's respective ...
