Street Muzik
$16.45 My interest in music began when I was about 5 years old. I spent hours making noise on my Grandmother's piano and organ when I visited her. Also, I loved to bang on the piano we had at home and see what kind of noises I could get out of it. In the 80's I bought my first synthesizer (a Roland analog) and became obsessed with techno-oriented groups such as Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk. Later, I developed a love for world music mainly because of the percussive elements. Although I do not play drums, I have always approached music with a very rhythmic, mathematical approach. I tend to use LOTS of percussion samples. Around the mid 90's I was influenced heavily by more ambient and ethereal electronica such as Future Sound of London (the "Lifeforms" album). I remember the mid 90's as being a good period for electronic music. It was during this time that I was inspired to create sounds with a more organic feel. As of today, I have produced hundreds of tracks (maybe thousands), some very rough, others more refined. I feel most alive when I am in the process ...
| | D-Sosa Rappin' To Jay-Z And 50 Cent (The African King) CD (2006)
Street Muzik
$13.29 D-Sosa who is your favorite rapper's worse fear and his Fastlife Record Label that sells thousands and thousands of units worldwide without signing a major recording contract. The model for Fastlife Records is to "Fear no one but God." D-Sosa and his Fastlife squad are mostly from Southwest Philadelphia. Basically, D-Sosa is here to change or get rid of all the nonsense in the rap world period. My influence is God. I learned from him that it is better to be wise than rich. Cause being wise can save your life. When you die, being rich is meaningless cause you can't take your riches when you die. So being rich is like chasing the wind. Trust me, I know because me and my Fastlife squad on the streets made millions yearly before this entertainment business. Last, I like to thank God for him allowing me to be Alive, Healthy, and Legal. Also, I want to thank God for him allowing me to not be dead ...

| | Greatest Touchdown Ever Scored Tgtes CD (2008)
Street Muzik
$7.19 The Greatest Touchdown Ever Scored...Violent Space Rock!TGTES is a project that was started by producer/engineer(My Ruin, Firtrucs, Lucky Jeremy) and songwriter Duane Burda in Minneapolis who now calls Los Angeles home.Lyrically he can be dark yet sweet. Drawing on his own experiences and relationships this is honest and compelling. It draws you in taking you through a full range of emotions while at times being cryptic.Music inspired by his desire to combine elements from the many genres he experienced in Minneapolis, including Hard Rock, Metal, Punk, Folk and Space Rock. Also allowing him to bring in fellow musicians without constraints of their perspective styles.Sound of the album is very dynamic and lush yet at times in your face. With spacey interludes sitting next to guitar rock. The compositions are interesting and melodic making them at home in your Ipod and hi-fi stereo revealing different details in each. While Duane was the bass player in the local Indie Punk Rock band The Short Fuses, he began writing new songs using whatever inspired him. He had a lot to draw from as he was a sound engineer for local clubs First Ave(Purple Rain), the 7th St Entry and 400 bar. It was a flourishing scene in the early part of the new century. There were new bands popping up all the time as well as singer song writers. He worked on records with bands like Firetrucs and Lucky Jeremy as well as working closely with Bellwether on their live sound. After being frustrated with the cold gloomy winters of Minneapolis and looking for a change of pace, Duane decides to move to LA after one show at the 7th St Entry opening for Firetrucs. Finding new inspiration he continued to write and compose. Most of the recording and mixing was done at the Hobby Shop, owned by fellow producer/engineers Andrew “Mudrock” Murdock and Scott Gilman. The music was recorded in 5 days with help from engineer David Spreng(Damone) and musicians Jorge Villanueva and Billy Jones. While mixing the album in the spring of 2006 The Greatest ...
