| | Brian Setzer & The Nashvillians Red Hot & Live! CD (2007)
Boult Conducts Bridge & Ireland
$12.95 This live date captures retro guitar king Brian Setzer and his band the Nashvillians ripping it up in Japan circa the mid 2000s. With rockabilly, swing, and jazz elements thrown into his greasy rock & roll stew, Setzer tears through recent faves ("This Cat's On a Hot Tin Roof") and classic Stray Cats material ("Rock This Town"). Highlighted throughout is Setzer's six-string wizardry, which in this high-energy live setting surpasses even his feted studio work. Accessible and fun, but with no shortage of chops and skill on offer, Setzer and his band make RED HOT & LIVE! an experience worth having.
Brian Setzer: Brian Setzer; Robbie Chevrier (guitar); Ronnie Crutcher (bass guitar); Bernie Dresel.
Personnel: Brian Setzer (vocals, guitar); Bernie Dresel (drums).
Audio Mixer: Dave Darling.
Illustrator: Vince Ray.
Photographers: Naoaki Toyofuku; Yuki Kuroyanagi; Tommy Maguire.

The young prince and princess embrance and dance in the huge ball room surrounded by their loved ones and friends. Suddenly the Dark Fairy appears! The evil fairy approaches the throne and demands the hand of the beautiful young princess or he will attack the kindgom! The King, Queen and the Prince all strongly refuse! The Dark Fairy dances his dance of death trying to persuade the King to reconsider his offer, but to no avail. The King and Queen order the Dark Fairy to leave and he leaves as quickly as he appeare. "Heralding the Darkness: Battle with the Dark Fairy." The Dark fairy returns to his castle and with a group of his minions gather in a dark cave to prepare for war. The Dark Fairy meets the loyal followers of the King and Queen and the battle begins! The battle continues until the morning light. The Dark Fairy is finally defeated and is sent into exile. In the ending scene you see the young Prince and Princess holding hands and embracing with a kiss as they fly into the lovely morning sky to enjoy another day in the magical Fairy Kingdom.
