Benefit Of Tai Chi album
$10.59 One of Enya's most popular releases, WATERMARK is an enchantingly dreamy album, featuring washes of keyboards and ethereal vocals. On the title track, the gentle piano melody mimics the sound of falling water, and Enya's multi-tracked voice cascades over the music like a calm wind on a rainy night.
The most memorable composition on this 1988 record is the hit "Orinoco Flow (Sail Away)." Marked by its keyboard-generated staccato strings and infectious vocal hook, this piece is probably the singer's best-known (and best-loved) song. "Cursum Perficio" features a gloomy vocal reminiscent of Carl Orff's CARMINA BURANA, while "On Your Shore," "Na Laetha Geal M'Oige," and "Evening Falls..." reflect Enya's traditional Celtic roots. ...
| | Tangerine Dream Rubycon CD (1975)
Benefit Of Tai Chi CD music
$8.85 RUBYCON is an undisputed classic in the vast Tangerine Dream canon, referenced by many of the new electronica generation. But at the time of its creation, Edgar Froese, Chris Franke, and Peter Baumann were themselves young men experimenting with technology.
RUBYCON is split into two sections, both of which offer the band's trademark mix of ululating sequencers, ghostly synthetic twilight, and mysterious electronic effects. Part One begins with intergalactic whispers, before coalescing into one of the Dream's most uniquely designed rhythm patterns. Part Two moves the sequencers' BPMs up a notch, matching them with whistling electronics and howling, deep space atmospheres. Truly astonishing stuff, and essential to anyone interested in the advancement of both electronic music and Krautrock in general.
Recorded at The Manor, Shipton On Cherwell, England in January 1975.

| | Enya Amarantine CD (2005)
Benefit Of Tai Chi CD music
$14.59 After a five-year silence in the wake of her phenomenally successful release A DAY WITHOUT RAIN, Enya reemerged in 2005 with AMARANTINE. The singer knows better than to mess with a good thing, and all of the hallmarks of her sound are here: the evocative Celtic overtones, the symphonic arrangements and lush soundscapes, and the singer's pure, haunting vocals. Additionally, Enya's long-time creative sidekicks--producer arranger Nicky Ryan and lyricist Roma Ryan--are on board here too, and the time-tested results show.
AMARANTINE, a poetic name for a mythical, everlasting flower, is an appropriate metaphor for the music. Luxuriant, mysterious, and with a deep aesthetic sense, ...

| | Kenny Chesney Everywhere We Go CD (1999)
Benefit Of Tai Chi songs
$7.69 Principally recorded at Woodland Studio, Emerald Studio And Music Mill Recording Studios, Nashville, Tennessee.
All tracks have been digitally mastered using HDCD technology.
When Kenny Chesney released his debut album in 1993, there wasn't much to distinguish him from the crop of new hat-wearing singers on the country scene. He began to stand out in 1997, with his hit singles "When I Close My Eyes" and "Me and You," but his 1998 hit "That's Why I'm Here" truly hinted at what he could do with the right material. On Chesney's fifth release, EVERYWHERE WE GO, that early promise pays off in spades.
Chesney's chosen a collection of excellent songs (from top writers like Paul Overstreet, Skip Ewing, and Kent Blazy), and has co-written a few more. His voice shows new depth and range, from the jaunty, uptempo "How Forever Feels" and "Life Is Good" to the tender "What I Need to Do" and the "Jerry Maguire"-inspired ballad "You Had Me From Hello." Another standout is "California," a song that gets its subject--sexual abuse--across without being heavy-handed. And you've got to give Chesney credit for having the guts to duet with Randy Travis, one of the finest vocalists in any genre. On "Baptism," the two singers spin a Gospel-flavored tale of redemption that's truly unique.
Personnel: Kenny Chesney (vocals, guitar); B. James Lowry (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, gut-string guitar); Larry Byrom (acoustic guitar); Steve Gibson (electric guitar, 6-string bass); J.T.
