 A Big Progression
A Lesson in Romantics pleasantly surprised me. With catchy tunes, and occasional ballads, I couldn't get the songs stuck out of my head. Compared to Tales Told by Dead Friends, this record is a epic. :] Sometimes the slow songs did become a bit boring, and a few of the titles (two, I believe) sounded very Fall Out Boy-esque, but without the cynicism, or wit. Though Mayday Parade still has a lot of maturing to do (musically), this album is worthy of a buy; plus it's on sale. Hah. My favourite songs included: Jersey, Black Cat, I'd Hate to Be You When People Find out What This Song Is About, Jamie All Over, and Miserable at Best.

 Awesome Band!!!
When it comes to following up their debut EP, you would think there could be a letdown. Thats not the case with this album. I feel like you could be hearing the first seven songs on the radio very soon. In this album, they keep the same feel as the last, feeling broken hearted and working through it. I you have a chance to buy their cd, you will be glad when you do.
