Ron had surrounded himself with some very creative and gifted musicians who live in the Southern Oregon area and played on the CDs with him. | | Subterra Speed Of Paid CD (2000)
End Of The Open Mind music CDs
$9.59 Creating original, edgy, organic rock with urgent guitar lines and little use for genre constructs or mainstream sheen, Subterra's underlying strength is the songs themselves, written by a guy (Howie Doyle) who was born too late to be Neil Young, too original to be 'commercial', and too instinctual to realize how emotionally raw his music sounds. The heart and soul of the music parallels that of the seminal alternative rock genre -- before angst and irony became worn out cliches. Yet just when it appears souls are being bared, the raw spots are salved with swirling guitars and corrosive caveman-on-acid guitar solos. Doyle the guitarist sounds like he is chopping at demons with his axe, while Doyle the vocalist is occasionally out of pitch, but not necessarily out of tune. At times his singing seems injected into the songs like crystal meth into a raging bull, and Subterra creates a beautiful noise, indeed...Selected Press Clips:03/00 - Jim Santo's ...

End Of The Open Mind songs
$9.35 Millions of years ago, a magnificent green ray of light came out of the sky down to Earth. Filled with other-worldly powers, it remained dormant until one dark night, a few friends saw a green glow beneath the desert sand. The green power was released to them and Slushbox was formed. Now Slushbox, a super-sonic rock band powered by the green light, races through the galaxy in a tomato spaceship. They survive on an ample supply of pomegranates and the love of those they meet along their journeys.Their mission is to visit other worlds and share the stories of their intergalactic expeditions with grooves and melodies, and prospecting the idea that the galaxy always has the cure. see more belowPRESS RELEASESlushbox, Truly Green Just take a look at their new CD, 'Dagga Goo', and you will see that rock band Slushbox honors green. The entire CD package is BRIGHT green. Songs such as 'Dry Spots', 'Messages', and 'Rust', express wonder of the great outdoors and environmental and social awareness. 'One-Celled Animal' and 'Octapus on Broadway' are whimsical celebrations of creatures rarely seen but always around. 'Tomato' and 'Pomegranate' confirm that lyricist/singer Sharon Giarratano is a disciple of farmers' markets, and she offers, 'All of the ...

| | Diana Starr Living For Your Love CD (2008)
End Of The Open Mind CD music
$16.45 When it comes to great music, it doesn't get any better than this. Diana Starr, has certainly proven herself as an accomplished singer, songwriter, arranger, producer and accompanist recording from her own studio, 'Starr Tracks'. This CD is a must on any road trip. For those who haven't heard her perform live, soul is deep in the heart of this girl from the east side of the river. Living 5 minutes from the St. Louis Arch on the Illinois side of the river, she is proud to be from the same stomping grounds as Tina Turner, Chuck Berry and now Gretchen Wilson. Coming from a musical family has further inspired her in taking her music to another level. As a writer, it was in 1981 when Diana was first acknowledged as a songwriter when she became Quarterfinalist in the Eighth Annual American Songwriting Competition with 'Mr. Moonlight', and the following year won Honorable Mention with 'You've Gone Too Far' proving her writing skills at such an early age. After recording her 'Paradise' CD, she was encouraged to enter the 'Blueberry Hill' Songwriting competition in St. Louis, Missouri where all but one of her 13 songs from the CD placed with 'Just A Heartbeat Away' naming her 1st place winner in the pop category. Of the other 12 songs, each one placed in the top 5 and/or top ten. Her song entries covered Rock, Pop, General, R&B, & Jazz. While being diversified in her style of writing, she also wears several different hats in the studio as well. As she has stated, 'I could actually live in my home studio. I love Pro Tools software and enjoy creating, editing ...
