Elder Johnson is no newcomer to the music business or to the church. Music became an intregal part of his life while attending high school in South Florida. Since committing his life to the Lord in 1987 Elder Johnson has been called into the ministry and for the past eight years has served as the Senior Pastor of the New Hope M.B.C. of Hollywood, FL. A single entitled "Solid Rock" (recorded on the "Gifts of Praise" C.D. in 1995 with the New Birth Baptist Church) launched Elder Johnson into a solo career. In 1997 Connail Released "I Heard The Voice" which included the hit single "God In My Corner", a popular wedding song which still receives airplay today. This new composition of gospel music transcends generational, ratial & cultural barriars. This is mama's gospel but gospel on the edge as well. It has two sides to the coin. Melodic and motivating. One moment you want to cuddle with your significant other, the next you want to call your Mama. You want to know what this project sounds like?
