Stokes, a lowlife department-store Santa in Terry Zwigoff's outrageous comedic follow-up to his offbeat hit GHOST WORLD. The diminutive Tony Cox plays his horny sidekick, Marcus, the real mastermind, who is even more foulmouthed than Stokes. Brett Kelly is Thurman Merman, an eight-year-old who desperately needs to believe in the real Santa Claus--and just might have a good enough heart to change Stokes's evil ways. Or maybe not. And Lauren Graham plays Sue, a young sexpot who wants to get a different kind of gift from Santa. Providing excellent comic relief in this black comedy is John Ritter, in his last film role, as the mousy mall manager, and Bernie Mac as Gin, the mall security guard who suspects something is not right.  A BAAAD MOVIE
Saw Bad Santa and just had to get Badder Santa. The humour is very blue and droll, and Billy BT pulls it off brilliantly. There's a great ensemble of characters and it's a movie I'll watch many times. Kind of in the 'Clerks' vein.

maybe I need to watch the original more often..
but it's still an awesome movie.. the perfect movie to see with Elf.. which is just as funny but the complete opposite in it's humor style.

while not a perfect comedy(like FARGO or Young Frankenstein) this is a very funny movie. the opening scene when you are introduced to the title character is brilliant. All these happy people at christmas and here is our poor, pathetic "santa" alone at the end of the bar sharing his thoughts about his life so far. I do beleve some of the profanity is over done but it is about some pretty low life types,so is likley in character. John Ritter is a fantastic counter weight as the uptight general mgr. the scene were he tries to fire the duo is comedic genius. if you enjoy dark, dark humor this is your movie. I read Santa Land Diaries and watch this movie every christmas. Ciao, ARISTONOTOS
