| | Ray Conniff We Wish You A Merry Christmas CD (1962)
Las Numero 1 CD music
$6.09 Ray Conniff was only a step or two above Lawrence Welk, where edginess is concerned, on the easy listening scale, and it is true that his albums could often have a sort of bland, soulless quality in their weakest moments. Nevertheless, there is something undeniably lovely about the orchestral and vocal arrangements on many of his albums, and that is never more so the case than on We Wish You a Merry Christmas. Even if you ignore the album's holiday aim, it is possibly Conniff's single finest recorded moment, with an incomparably strong choral vocal performance from his Singers. You cannot really segregate the music from its purpose, however, and to do so would be to gloss over the album's single greatest attribute: its timeless, sparkling mood. It remains as fresh, in its way, ...

| | Herb Alpert What Now My Love CD (1966) Remastered; Special Edition
Las Numero 1 CD music
$9.99 With this album, Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass settle into their hitmaking groove, the once strikingly eclectic elements of Dixieland, pop, rock, and mariachi becoming more smoothly integrated within Alpert's infectious "Ameriachi" blend. They sound more like a band now; along with Alpert's now-indelibly stamped trumpet sound, we can recognize jazzman John Pisano's distinctive rhythm guitar, Lou Pagani's piano, the droll Bob Edmondson's dulcet trombone, etc. Pisano, who debuted as a composer on Going Places, comes up with a memorably whistleable song "So What's New," and the rest of Alpert's songwriting brigade (Ervan Coleman, Julius Wechter and Sol Lake) chime in with ...

Ten songs - some you know, some you don't, some you haven't thought about for a while.Tom Chapin pays a much-appreciated visit with his guitar, back-up vocals and songwriting collaboration. | | Bryan Clark Multicolored Blue CD (2007)
Las Numero 1 CD music
$17.09 Bryan Clark excites the imagination. Inspired by the blessings of a musical family, Bryan has always had a passion for music. His earliest memories are of Sam Cooke, Nat King Cole, Arthur Prysock, The Drifters and the richness and soul of Gospel; a majestic musical heritage.Today, Bryan has centered his passion on "The Great American Song Book", presented with the backup of great swinging jazz musicians. He's ever hungry for more of the music of class, as he puts it. Traveling the mid-Atlantic region as well as Nationally, Bryan is a commanding presence in keeping the music of class and its legacy alive. One of Bryan's specialties as a vocalist is as a singing impressionist. He tours Nationally with a "Rat Pack" revue as Sammy Davis, Jr. As a headliner, he patterns his ...

Las Numero 1 music CDs
$16.45 English :Between 1986 and 1999, Roch Archambault composed music for ballet, theater, radio, poetry and was part of many bands as a pianist. He also composed and recorded many songs under his name and sold on many tapes. In 1999, he composed and recorded his first CD called "Le nocturne ecrivain", a concept album with the help of many musicians and singers. The album was influenced by his work in theater productions. Some say it sounds like movie soundtracks, others say it sounds like experimental and progressive rock from the 70's. For Roch Archambault, it is personal and the songs are related to one another. French : Entre 1986 et 1999, Roch Archambault ...
