A musical journey. That is how newly formed band Worm-Hole describe their songs. With a diversity from song to song like very few others, the group is not afraid to try any style of music and experiment with their own twist in writing. The group was formed in May 2006 when long time friends and ex-band mates Travis Manning and John Geddes decided to put a project together. With Manning on vocals and guitars, and Geddes on bass, the first piece to the puzzle was long-time friend and drummer Toby Padilla. With his wide range of drum ability and creative mind he was the perfect fit. The final touch came when Chris Adams came into the picture. Long time blues guitarist and tone guru, he brought a technicality that pushed back the line of what was possible, and a guitar tone that makes you go: OOOOOOOHH. The rest as they say is history. The group has such chemistry that there is no shortage of original material or powerful performances. The group has recently finished their first release "Breathe" on Manning's independent label Nasty Cactus Music. Keep an eye (and an ear) out for Worm-Hole in a town near you! Breathe album
$12.29 BY A THREAD is Gov't Mule's first studio album since HIGH & MIGHTY was issued in 2006. Since that time, bassist Andy Hess has been replaced by Jorgen Carlsson, though Hess appears on two tracks at the end of the album. Carlsson's playing style is much more aggressive than Hess', and is therefore closer - in spirit anyway - to Gov't Mule's original bassist, the late Allen Woody, though he possesses an adventurous sense of time and is harmonically more colorful than either Woody or Hess. Carlsson and drummer Matt ...

Breathe music CDs
$24.95 NO ES LO MISMO won the 2004 Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album.
This 2003 outing from Sanz garnered the singer/songwriter/producer a slew of Latin Grammy awards, including Record of the Year. This special edition features a whole bunch of extra goodies, including a DVD with videos for four tunes including "No Es Lo Mismo" and "Regalame La Silla Done Te Espere," as well as an acoustic version of "Eso."
Alejandro Sanz, one of Spain's biggest musical stars, expanded his stylistic palette with NO ES LO MISMO. The title ("It's Not the Same") hints that Sanz will be mixing it up here, and that's exactly what he does. In addition to his usual concoction of flamenco-infused Latin pop, Sanz adds rock, hip-hop, bolero, and son, among other styles. Among the love ballads the artist is known for, there ...

$18.19 Steve Hall BioInternational Steinway Artist, Steve Hall, has been playing the piano since the age of five, having been classically trained until the age of eighteen. He then developed a music career and continued to pursue it on a part-time basis, playing at thousands of weddings and private parties. Upon graduation from USC (majoring in history with a minor in music,) he began a management career in banking, which lasted almost twenty-five years. Steve has been honored many times in banking, yet music has remained his passion. He became known as "The Banker With The Beat." At every event where he performed, Steve's music and styling received tremendous attention. Enthusiastic fans began to request recorded samples of his music. Encouraged by his family and friends, and with overwhelming response, Bankbeat Productions, Inc. was born in July of 1992 with the recording of his first album, "Notes of Romance." The music sold rapidly and was soon picked up by national distributing companies for sale in gift shops, Hallmark stores, boutiques, book shops and privately-owned businesses. Thirteen years and many recordings later, Bankbeat Productions, Inc. has sold over 1.6 million albums! The company currently offers thirty-one musical collections. In addition, Steve recently released his first DVD, "All Things Bright and Beautiful," which features captivating scenes of nature with selected songs from his inspirational albums. Steve categorizes his music as "great-sounding, heart warming, familiar tunes." He attributes his musical success to his attentiveness toward people and what they want to hear. His father had always told him to play from the heart, and both his mom and his dad encouraged him to share God's gift of music with others. Indeed, it is his music's uplifting appeal and familiarity that has earned Steve a loyal following from people of all walks of faith. With the success of three more romantic albums, "Coming Home", "Timeless Love", and "Gift of Love", Steve began to concentrate on recording the music of his childhood...inspirational music. Despite the skepticism expressed by his distributors for the appeal of inspirational music, ...
| | Coyote Problem California CD (2007)
Breathe album
$16.45 "California", winner of Best Americana Album at the 2007 San Diego Music awards, is the long-awaited follow up to The Coyote Problem's previous release "Wire", (which won Best Americana Album at the 2005 San Diego Music Awards). Born in the era of Beatles and Dylan, The Coyote Problem can't shake the notion that music is both a serious art form and funner than a sack of cherry bombs, and that real rock and roll honors its roots in folk, blues and country."The simple presentation and honest sentiment of 'California' is The Coyote Problem at its best – just three men delivering songs that do what great songs do – make you feel the joys and pains of being alive. Singer-songwriter Peter Bolland is, quite simply, in the class of artists like Jackson Browne, Steve Earle and John Hiatt who built Americana before it had a name." -- Ed Burns, The San Diego Troubadour“A likable, radio-friendly country-rock hybrid…lovely melodies…truly memorable hooks.”-- Jim Trageser, North County Times"The Coyote Problem obviously knows how to craft a good song. Each tune takes you on a fulfilling journey…”-- Nina Garin, The San Diego Union-Tribune"Plenty of bands have set a drum-brush beat and mandolin background against a lonesome lead vocal, but few do it with the clear, ringing glow that the Coyote Problem achieves. Instead of the raucous, smash-beer-bottles-and-swig-whiskey sound that a lot of alt-country and country-rock bands embody, the Coyote Problem slows the rhythm and turns up the emotional longing". -- Ollie, San Diego Reader“The Coyote Problem’s new album 'California' brews up an alchemy that transforms dirt into ...

Breathe music CDs
$11.49 “The free mind never asks how, but is always discovering, moving, living.”Krishnamurti spent his adult life speaking to people around the world on the eternal questions of life. One could say he was a philosopher in the original sense of the word, not an academic or intellectual, but a lover of truth. But who Krishnamurti was is probably not as important as what Krishnamurti said, or rather the exploration we can take through the words he has left:“I think it is important to understand that freedom is at the beginning and not at the end. We think freedom is something to be achieved, that liberation is an ideal state of mind to be gradually attained through time, through various practices; but to me, this is a totally wrong approach. Freedom is not to be achieved; liberation is not a thing to be gained. Freedom, or liberation, is that state of mind which is essential for the discovery of any truth, any reality; therefore, it cannot be an ideal; it must exist right from the beginning. Without freedom at the beginning, there can be no moments of direct understanding because all thinking is then limited, conditioned. If your mind is tethered to any conclusion, to any experience, to any form of knowledge or belief, it is not free; and such a mind cannot possibly perceive what is truth.”Krishnamurti raises questions such as:“What is it that we are seeking? And can a mind that is seeking ever find something beyond time, beyond its own projections?”“Is there such a thing as the absolute, the immeasurable, and is there any relation between that immensity and our everyday living?”“Is there freedom in thinking, or is all thought limited?”Krishnamurti challenges us to approach these questions ...
