Very Best Of Mungo Jerry
$14.49 Buoyed by the popularity of the hit contemporary pop ballad "Home," singer Michael Bublé's 2005 album, IT'S TIME, clearly positioned the vocalist as the preeminent neo-crooner of his generation. Easily the singer's most stylistically wide-ranging album so far, 2009's CRAZY LOVE is also one of his brightest, poppiest, and most fun. Bublé kicks things off with the theatrical, epic ballad "Cry Me a River" and proceeds to milk the tune with burnished breath, eking out the drama line by line. It's over the top for sure, but Bublé takes you to the edge of the cliff, prepares ...
| | Bob Dylan Christmas In The Heart CD (2009)
Very Best Of Mungo Jerry
$12.85 After the initial shock fades, the existence of CHRISTMAS IN THE HEART seems perhaps inevitable. After all, the thing Bob Dylan loves most of all are songs that are handed down from generation to generation, songs that are part of the American fabric, songs so common they never seem to have been written. These are the songs Dylan chooses to sing on CHRISTMAS IN THE HEART, a cheerfully old-fashioned holiday album ...

Very Best Of Mungo Jerry
$12.69 When I started writing music back at the age of 13, I never would had dreamed I would've beenplaying for 30 plus years. I can still remember the 5 string, out of tune guitar, having 2 Junior High friends playing percussion in a small room and the first song I wrote titled, "Indian Girl". My God!!!The lyrics was just as bad as the music but at that time within my early music career, I thought I hadstruck it rich. After learning how to play the guitar a little more, both music and lyrics massively improved. Songs like "Traveling Man, Summer Love, Party Tonight, and I Love You" caught people'sattention. After graduating from Xenia High School in 1979, my music took a huge turn for the best. Startingmy first year in college, "Dr. Spaceman And The Crabs Band, American Grass", and songs from theupcoming CD "Dawnstar" was written. My college life was never completely the same again. In 1984, I finally decided to go into a recording studio for the first time and I met Jeff Friend. He and Jeff Higgans told me to bring in 1 song and if I didn't like how they worked with me on thatone song, then there was no charge for their services. So I dug out this little song, which I thoughtwasn't that good and presented it to them. The song was "Stargazer" and the song along with the restof the "Dawnstar" album exploded my music to a higher level. This kid was on cloud nine!!! Realizing that I had to make a living and until I would get my big break into the music field I loved,I played off and on while working a full time job. Still having the itch to play music, I decided to go backinto the recording studio to do one final show. "Friends, Family, and Farewell Concert", recorded atRefraze Recording Studios in 1998 was planned to be my final chapter in music. Boy was I ever provenwrong!!! It jumped started my music and that music ride has been going full force ever since. In 1999, "Down To Earth" produced songs like "Fallen Rain Again, I'm The Spaceman," ...

Very Best Of Mungo Jerry
$26.39 It's the cover art that immediately grabs one's attention, a photograph of a trio of flashy-dressed Afro-Americans crucified on flower-encrusted crosses. But Maximillian's defiant stance on the cover of their 1969 self-titled debut is pretty much the highlight of the album itself. Considering the date, it's no surprise the band was invariably compared to Jimi Hendrix, usually by archivists who hadn't heard this previously impossible-to-find rarity. Unlike Hendrix, frontman Maximillian had all the vocal talent of a third-rate punk singer, making up for his inability to carry a tune ...

Very Best Of Mungo Jerry
$5.99 It was William Shakespeare that once remarked, “My words fly up, my thoughts remain below: Words without thoughts never to heaven go.” Whatever one’s view of heaven happens to be, (I myself am intrigued by the mystery of it all, and by the unanswered questions of space and time), this immortal statement is a perfect complement to the type of music and message that I wish to share with the world. My head is forever in the clouds, and yet my feet are planted firmly here upon the ground, determined to make the most of my time here on this planet by dedicating myself to the service of others. The words and music that pour forth from my soul are a reflection of this, and display an adoration and respect for Mother Earth, a need to help heal the pains of the human condition, and a desire to help others understand that the concept of true love, of loving another so deeply that it shakes the very fabric of time itself, remains alive and well in the heart of each and every dreamer…In an age where the old model of music is beginning to crumble, independent musical artists are taking the world by storm, and there is more opportunity now than ever before for musicians to take control of their own careers and share their music with the world on their own terms and in their own unique ways. In addition to this, we have now come to a time in our history where many are beginning to realize the long-term effects of our sometimes careless ways. We are questioning ...
