Most Likely To Succeed songs
$9.59 Jazz saxophonist Amy Lee has released her debut solo CD INSIDE THE OUTSIDE (PPM '99) to start a new chapter in her musical career. One might say that Amy Lee's star was launched in 1990 after performing for Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday celebration at the Atlanta Civic Center. It was on that evening she met Charles Neville of the Neville Brothers, beginning her association with the New Orleans music scene. Amy became a member of Neville's eclectic jazz ensemble Diversity, formed by Charles that year for the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Her collaboration with Neville evolved into arranger for Diversity as well as performer, and her affiliation with the group lasted through 1996, performing annually for the Festival. In 1991 Amy met and "sat in" with Jimmy Buffett while in New Orleans performing for the Festival. Buffett immediately asked her to join his Coral Reefer Band which was about to begin its 1991 Outpost Tour. Two weeks later she became a Coral Reefer and has been with Jimmy and his band ever since. In 1992 Amy became the horn section leader and began arranging horn charts for the tours as well as Jimmy's albums. 2003 marks her thirteenth touring season as a Coral Reefer Band member. Amy Lee has worked extensively in the studio as a performer, arranger and composer for major albums, on independent albums, and radio and TV commercials. Prior to her debut jazz release, as a songwriter, Amy collaborated with Jimmy Buffett on his MCA releases "Bob Robert's Society Band" (BANANA WIND - Margaritaville Records/MCA '96); "Fruitcakes" (FRUITCAKES - Margaritaville Records/MCA '94); and "Delaney Talks To Statues" (FRUITCAKES - Margaritaville Records/MCA '94) along with songwriter Mac McAnally. Amy's first major label release was on a ...

Most Likely To Succeed album
$10.59 In the rainy city known as Seattle, a young lyricist is prepared to blow supported by his crew the twenty-one year old rhymer with punch lines you just can't ignore, absorbs images from his environment and turns them in to lyrics that will keep your rewind button busy. From going to school to turning to the streets, Livio always had a niche to rhyme, no matter where he was he would always be putting words together and he has never been one to shy away from life's gritty reality. Known on his city streets for having impressive talent at such a young age, Livio would rap any chance he got and would record at another local rappers house that he had befriended. 'It wasn't really much' says Livio 'I think we were recording on an 8 track, but at least we got to hear ourselves on tape and when I stopped going to school, I decided to take my music seriously because I saw that I could get paid to do what I love to do.' He was only 16 years old. After a year of writing rhymes, Livio hooked up with an old friend turned promoter (Amir). The two decided to join forces and put together Livio's first album. They got with platinum producer Funkdaddy and nine months later out came his debut album 'My Life vol. 1' Livio's first complete studio album. The album had guest appearances by artists like Noreaga, D12, Trey Dee, B-Legit and several other west coast legends. His first album was well accepted in the Northwest as well as the rest of the west coast and secured his place in the West Coast Underground Hip-Hop scene. Livio, along with platinum producer Funkdaddy, has since started their own label, called Funkdaddy Records. Inspired by his love for Rap, his family, friends and, the other members of his crew, Livio's aggressive, complex and street-smart rhyme style has brought new life to the Northwest Hip-Hop scene. 'I grew up listening to Ice Cube and N.W.A., L.L. Cool J, Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, 2pac, and Snoop' says Livio 'So when I wrote my own rhymes most of it came from my ...
