Stormbringer songs Product Information
Stormbringer album for sale by Deep Purple was released Jul 31, 2007 on the Friday Music label. Stormbringer falls short of the excellence of Machine Head and Who Do We Think We Are, but nonetheless boasts some definite classics -- including the fiery "Lady Double Dealer," the ominous title song (a goth metal treasure), the sweaty "High Ball Shooter," and the melancholy ballad "Soldier of Fortune." Most of the other songs on the decent, if uneven, Stormbringer (which Metal Blade reissued on CD in the early '90s) are not essential. Stormbringer CD music contains a single disc with 9 songs. ...See Full Description

||It's a classic|
If you are a hard rock fan or a fan of metal's roots, this CD is worth your investment. Second CD by the lineup featuring Coverdale, Hughes and Blackmore from 1975.

"Stormbringer" stands out significantly in Deep Purple's catalogue as is it so different to their other albums. However, this difference is not bad at all.

||BEST PURPLE ALBUM.|
This is a more mellow album than Burn and heading more down the funkier road. However there are still some brilliant rock songs on here e.g. Lady Double Dealer and Stormbringer.

All the songs here are very cool. It is well produced and the guys play majestically. The cover artwork is well done although I have heard that not having the band members on the cover was not a good marketing move! GREAT OBERALL ALBUM!
