I’ve got nothing against Britney; she’s fun to watch I concede,Still for what it’s worth, I’m heading back to Buffalo Springfield. As a solitary songwriter and a creative strategy, I have gravitated towards songwriters that I can learn from by studying their songs and chord progressions. The one song that probably had the greatest influence on my songwriting career has to be Buffalo Springfield’s "For What It’s Worth" written By Stephen Stills. There were also other Buffalo Springfield and Neil Young songs which gave me the belief that I could do this, and I am eternally grateful for their inspiration. Still, one can never forget all those great songs, groups, and artists from the sixties that will live on forever. I also believe any songwriter influenced by the sixties needs to write one mister song, and I have written "Mr. Fate" which is on the Quiet Explosions CD! I would also like to thank my “Buffalo” team for enriching this songwriting journey and putting their personal touches on these songs.
