I became interested in music when I was about ten. My Mom got this little keyboard. It was the kind you might find at a Wal-Mart with 37 keys and a few cheesy sounds. I loved playing songs on this keyboard by ear. A man that worked for my Dad played the guitar and taught me some basic chords to songs like "Amazing Grace". This was a big step in my piano playing because once I got those chords down pat I started learning new ones and variations of them. For the next couple of years I kept on learning and improving and also upgrading my previous keyboards with bigger and better ones. So far though, I was only playing on a 61 note keyboard and was feeling limited. I was so happy when I got my 88 weighted key digital piano. When I was around thirteen, I was getting ready for bed when I thought of the words to a song. That night I wrote my first song called, "The Lighthouse". I felt like the words came right from God and just fell onto the paper. Also around that time, I was asked to play in a friend's wedding. The only place I had played in front of people before was at a friend's piano recital as guest pianist. I accepted the invitation and a couple of months later I was playing in front of about 250 people at the wedding. I had a great time and feel it was a wonderful experience. A few months later I wrote another song and from then on I started writing songs quite often. I am 18 now and have written over 100 songs to date. I have written the music to numerous songs and have done the lead singing on a few songs for others. I play mostly by ear but I can also read some music. Even though I have never had piano lessons, I don't feel limited at all. I feel like I can learn at my own pace. Around October 2004,I joined an online forum called CSO (Christian Songwriting Organization). I have done quite a bit of collaboration work with people on there and have learned a lot. I am always encouraged by the people on the forum and am so glad I joined. As the years go on, I hope to grow spiritually and musically. I pray that the music I write and play will bless people and help them to see Jesus Christ through me. God Bless, -Douglas Douglas J Moore Douglas J. Moore Songs | 1. | Lifting Me Up |

Douglas J. Moore album
$14.79 Flatwound is a Southeastern Connecticut band made up of five guys who live to play the Blues. It is a collaboration of five people with one goal, to write their own music and not go the way of other cover bands in the area. Flatwound emerged from a weekly outlet to relieve stress. Mike Jones hailing from North Stonington CT on lead guitar, really rips it up with his background in theory and days of burnin it down with Rock. Tate Tomis from Preston Ct. on rhythm guitar adds smooth and sultry tones sings backup vocals and writes lyrics. John Cripps on bass with 30 years of experience is a talented player comes through with thundering tones and smooth solid base lines also joins in as backup vocalist and lyricist. Gary Paul of Norwich Ct is the man who takes those lyrics and sends them wailing has a background alternative and other genres. Bill Hewes from Pawcatuck Ct, the drummer, keeps it all in beat, and is the backbone of the group. Each has varied skills and a myriad of talents that melt in the musical cauldron that the world can now call Flatwound. Since they originated, they have worked hard to find their true musical identity and unique style. Though their influences are scattered though all musical genres, they collectively feel that all blues musicians are considered influential. With that said, this band plays no cover music. Their music is truly their own. It also belongs not only to them but to music lovers with an open mind. The band is assisted by a road crew consisting of Richard Cripps who sets up also sings back up vocals, Clint Verville who does sound lighting recording and back up vocals and Wendy Lloyd communication coordinator, sales promotions and an occasional lyric . Steppin' Out is their first release and doing fantastic. It is a live recording without an audience. No Artificial fillers or flavoring added. Their main hope is that you have as much ...

Douglas J. Moore CD music
$11.39 CHRISTINE L. EASTERLING is a New Jersey native, with Caribbean roots, who grew up in the church. Like many children of God she was tested. Her young years were wild and full of undisciplined fire. That flame consumed her soul and placed her at the gates of hell. Instead of succumbing to brimstone, she called out to the Lord for a lifeboat. She grasped up and touched a new beginning. Her life was changed. Signs of the Times Ministries presents the premier release of this gifted gospel vocalist and prophetic psalmist first CD, A NEW BEGINNING. This release reflects Christine's testimony about her struggles in life and how the Lord helped her to overcome those obstacles. This is the message she shares track after track, while reminding listeners. You can thrive through ...
