Atencion Atencion seeks to foster in children the values of healthy sharing and true friendship based on the songs from the two well-known educational albums: ' Atencion, Atencion...este juego va a empezar'( Attention Attention .. this game is going to start') and ' Atencion Atencion...este juego va a seguir' (Attention Attention this game is going to continue'). This educational material has been widely diffused in child care centers, kinder gardens and in private and public elementary schools. Teachers throughout the island of Puerto Rico have been utilizing the songsfrom the albums ' Atencion, Atencion...este juego va a empezar' (1999) and ' Atencion, Atencion...este juego va a seguir' (2001) in their classrooms, provoking a positive impact in our childhood. By this time, ' Atencion, Atencion' became one of the most important projects in the recording industry for children ages 2 through 9. Thousands of children in Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic enjoy fun songs such as:' Había un sapo, sapo', 'La cancion del lagartijo', 'El valiente Martín', ' La hormiga colorada', 'La cancion de los sonidos', ' La pulga aventurera' and many others. 'Atencion Atencion... llega la Navidad'(Attention Attention... Christmas is coming'), was introduced in November 2004 seeking to perpetuate the traditional musical values of Puerto Rico and Latin America. This production offers two CD's, one with songs and the other narrates the miracle of Christmas in a musical play format. In May 2005, the play 'Atencion Atencion!vamos a jugar'( Attention Attention... let's play') the first completely interactive show ever offered in Puerto Rico, was presented at 'Centro de Bellas Artes Luis A. Ferre'. Throughout the whole show, children get to dance, play and sing all the songs of the production to the beat of ' Banda Atencion Atencion' (Attention Attention Band), conducted by Victor Rivera-Solanas, one of the creators of the project. As part of the show, the best known characters such as 'Sr. Sapo Johnny', 'el lagartijo' and 'Tito el angelito' accompany the band. We can proudly say that more than 30,000 children have seen this show in over 90 full attendance presentations. Atencion Atencion is a highly attractive project which awakens the interest of our children for culture. Our goal is to continue offering a positive message that will help in the psychomotor development of children through music, interactive DVD's, books with stories for new readers and live presentations.
