"His latest project 'Unforgiven' is a whirling box car ride, portraying images of a truly bleak existance; where love and redemption are nowhere to be found.""The stripped down title track is reminiscent of early Johnny Cash, with an original sound of its own. Other notable tracks include 'Lovin Man', 'Tides of Fate', and 'Chase it Away.'" $12.39 Retreating to generally quieter territory after the somewhat splashy IT'S NOT BIG IT'S LARGE, Lyle Lovett also backs away from original tunes on NATURAL FORCES, choosing to devote the bulk of the 11-track album to other writers. Covers are common for Lovett, but not ...
| | Alan Jackson Let It Be Christmas CD (2002)
Unforgiven songs
$9.99 Unlike HONKY TONK CHRISTMAS, Alan Jackson's fine 1993 holiday album, LET IT BE CHRISTMAS sticks exclusively to the chestnuts. Though Jackson has built a career as one of country music's premier good 'ol boy neo-honky tonkers, here he employs heavily orchestrated arrangements more characteristic of Sinatra than Skynyrd. The setting reveals him to ...

| | Reba Mcentire Keep On Loving You CD (2009) Enhanced CD
Unforgiven CD music
$15.29 KEEP ON LOVING YOU is contemporary country legend Reba McEntire's debut recording on the semi-independent Valory Music Company label's Starstruck imprint. Despite its release on an indie, the production and approach are anything but.. The cream of country music's current chart crop wrote its 13 songs, and it's a radio-friendly collection showcasing McEntire's adaptability. The title track, a midtempo ballad saturated in compressed guitars, Hammond B-3, and a chorus of fiddles, reveals that McEntire is a belter who can hang with the best of them. The set opener (and its first single), "Strange," with its acoustic guitars, mandolin, and fiddle intros, is like something from the backyard until about 20 seconds in, when a wall of guitars ŕ la John Rich arrives and Reba's vocal spits out lyrics about a wrecked love affair. "I Want a Cowboy" and "Pink Guitar" sound more like McEntire is being backed by the Charlie Daniels Band circa 1979 than her own touring unit. "She's Turning 50 Today" is a ...

$17.69 Welcome to the "Good Luck, Goodbye" CD Baby site. Glad you're here!!!Michael's style is somewhere between Toby Keith, George Strait, and Clint Black. He writes and performs all his own music. Each song on this CD is drawn from Michael's own life experience. He has performed extensively on the county fair and rodeo circuit in Oregon. As an entertainer, he's had the priveledge of meeting many country music stars, such as Ricky Scaggs, Mel Tillis, Pam Tillis, Toby Keith, Diamond Rio, Sammy Kershaw, and many others. Most recently, Michael did an opening act for Tanya Tucker. She is a truly gracious performer. Check www.michaellovecountry.com for photos. Take a listen to the clips. Then imagine them on a great stereo, like the one in your car, truck, or home. Once you own the CD, you can turn it -U-P-! and sing along. Michael says, "I couldn't do it without my buds behind the scenes. Fine musicians like Ashley Raines, Carrie ...

| | Haole Wolf Sphinx Of Love CD (2007)
Unforgiven album
$12.69 Haole Wolf: Sphinx of LoveOriginally, I wrote songs for my kids when they were little. As long as it had a catchy rhythm and made them laugh, I had free reign as a minstrel. Most of the songs I wrote for them were goofy.I like songs that feel like they are being written on the spot, even if they take three years of late night sweating to finish. When I'm stuck, I write a song about flowers or cats. Lost and found love fuel my songwriting. I discovered the ukulele seven years ago, and love how it begs to tag along everywhere and be a part of the action. Originally from Indiana, I now live on the Big Island of Hawai'i, surrounded by ocean, sky and volcano.Haole is the term for caucasian people in Hawaiian. It sometimes just means white, sometimes it has a more negative connotation. Wolves were once native to Indiana. Howling Wolf was a kick-ass blues player who sang one of my favorite songs: "Built for Comfort." Haole Wolf is funnier, sadder, crankier, wittier than I am. He's always ready to sing a song that will help me get through a crappy day.Album artwork: Joe Lee.All songs copyright c 2006 by David Christman. All background vocals and instruments were performed/sung by Brian Goodman except slide guitar (1, 12) and dumbek (7) by David Christman, and accordion (15) by Sophia Travis.Recorded at Mama Cat’s Kitchen Table*Recorded live at the Buskirk-Chumley Theatre, Bloomington, Indiana as part of the 2005 Tango and BeyondProduced by Brian Goodman and David Christmanhaolewolf@gmail.comInstruments: acoustic, electric and resonator guitars, soprano ukulele, banjo uke, StrumStick, porcelain dumbek, harmonica, kazoo, finger snaps, handclaps and that wonderful little thing known as the human voice.SONG NOTES:1. The modern cross between Claude Monet, Edward Hopper and paint-by-number kits. Shame on the heirs of the Elvis Presley brand for shutting down the flow of Mexican Black Velvet Elvis imports.2. Finding yourself single and dating in your late thirties and early forties is one of the lesser-discussed inner circles of Dante’s Inferno.3. They were skinny, limber and pissed.4. I love sushi. The cats love that I love sushi.5. My mother ordered fried chicken in every restaurant we ever visited. When they didn’t have fried chicken, she just drank iced tea. I admire that kind of dedication.6. Hmmm, I discovered after writing and playing this song for several years that I not only stole the chords but also the subject matter from Frankie Valli.7. Sphinxify!8. A sure sign of someone who has gone through twelve years of Catholic education is that when they finally write a song about sex they have to spell it out rather than actually say the S word.9. I like it when you think you are somewhere, and then you discover you are somewhere else.10. Being alone and surrounded by couples calling each other by pet names ...
