This classic anime film is now available in brand new packaging. Tatsunoko Productions presents KARAS: THE PROPHECY, an anime featuring the voices of actors Piper Perabo, Matthew Lillard, and Jay Hernandez. Jam-packed with fighting sequences, and with music by the Prague Symphony Orchestra, KARAS: THE PROPHECY takes place in a fictional version of Tokyo, where humans and demons coexist. As the city's guardian, it is Karas's responsibility to keep all these different forces in balance, a task that proves manageable enough until the power-hungry Eko intervenes at all of Tokyo's expense. Karas: The Prophecy Reviews: "[The DVD] delivers the fantastic anime images with excellent quality....Interesting atmospheric effects like smoke, vapor and haze give the animation depth and dimension."

Karas: The Prophecy Video Karas: The Prophecy Movie Review What was that The graphics was off the charts, But the story was poor. Had to many holes in the story. This one is a poor manga, I wouldn't get this one, Useless that all you want to see is action. One of Manga worst Animes ever. I don't care for flash all that much. It only matter to me when It do tastfully. Horrorable film. Submitted by cqc1979wt (Houston, TX, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No This review is for a different format.
Just a Display of animation skills When I got this dvd I was very disapointed. Because most mangas have a well made story line. The topic was clear yet it very horrorable as to why that was. So it leave you hanging like what happen. The graphyics were over the top the best. Yet it was just flash with no substance. Then at the end it leave hanging like there going to be a part II. If you like a lot of crazy action with poor storytelling pick this one. It's only good if your the type that doesn't like to much dialogue. Another anime that you might have interest in is "Appleseed" check that out. you won't be diappointed. Believe it. Submitted by Clarence (Houston, TX, USA) Was This Review Helpful? $17.95 All tracks have been digitally remastered using HDCD technology.
This is a hybrid Super Audio CD playable on both regular and Super Audio CD players.
Ferry's first solo effort since the second breakup of Roxy Music is arguably his best, in part because it continues in the direction the band had been going. It's like AVALON, only more so.
Here, Ferry's lounge lizard affectations are writ large; the lyrical pose is all bruised romantic fatalism (say hello, "Slave to Love"), and the music fits it like a glove. The album's soundscapes are lush and echo-laden, and nearly every track has a discreet disco pulse; "Valentine," the one exception, is mid-tempo reggae. Overlaid with skittish percussion and guitars, BOYS AND GIRLS is the aural equivalent of a white dinner jacket and a half-empty bottle of champagne.

| | Iain Matthews If You Saw Thro' My Eyes CD (1971)
Karas: The Prophecy movie DVD
$14.29 IF YOU SAW THRO' MY EYES is the 1971 solo album from Ian Matthews, who was once a member of the bands Fairport Convention, Plainsong, and Matthews Southern Comfort.
This limited-edition Japanese CD is a digitally remastered reissue with a replica of the album's original artwork.
One-time Fairport Convention member and leader of the short-lived Matthews' Southern Comfort, singer-songwriter Ian Matthews released this album, his official solo debut, in 1971. Though Matthews is from the U.K. and cut his teeth in that most English of folk-rock acts mentioned above, his own work has much more in common with the twangy, laid-back country-rock (see the Gene Clark-esque opening track, "Desert Inn") of the Laurel Canyon scene than it does with the traveling minstrel jams in which his fellow Englishmen were indulging at the same time. Interestingly, although he was ultimately booted from the band, Matthews gets some help here from Fairport Conventioneers Richard Thompson and Sandy Denny. The stellar California-based label Water reissued the album in 2007.
One of the founding members of Fairport Convention, Ian Matthews left that group in 1969 (during the recording of Unhalfbricking) to pursue a solo career. Originally released on Vertigo, 1971's If You Saw Thro' My Eyes was Matthews' fourth post-Fairport

| | Iain Matthews Tigers Will Survive CD (1971)
Karas: The Prophecy video
$13.69 The second official solo album from former Fairport Convention guitarist Ian Matthews, TIGERS WILL SURVIVE has a similar back-porch groove to that of its predecessor, IF YOU SAW THRO' MY EYES, yet it's a little more ambitious, too, a fact made clear by its fairly diverse sonic pallette. Matthews tackles an a capella cover of the Ronettes' "Da Doo Ron Ron," offers the meditative "Hope You Know" and the slightly funky "Right Before My Eyes," and brings it back to the country with "Please Be My Friend" and "Close the Door Lightly." The stand-out track, however, is Matthews's urgent cover of "House of Unamerican Blues Activity Dream," by his inspiration, Richard Farina. The excellent California-based Water Records reissued the album in 2007.
1971 found former Fairport Convention lead singer Ian Matthews not only extremely prolific but surprisingly consistent. Tigers Will Survive, originally released on Vertigo in November of that year, is no exception. Featuring backing from British band Qui
