KILLING ON ADRENALINE, the 1998 classic from Maryland death metal journeymen Dying Fetus, is an unholy Frankenstein's monster of death metal, speed, and hardcore breakdowns. Trading off guttural demon vocals and torn-larynx barks, the band rides a blistering wave of cascading, land-speed-record drums and bulldozer mosh pit riffs right into a hellish sonic landscape. Songs like "Fornication Terrorists" take hairpin turns from tight, controlled math-metal solos right into brutalizing jackhammer crunch and back again, showcasing the band's stunning skill and broad range. For anyone who isn't sure exactly what death metal should sound like, you could do a lot worse than pointing them at Dying Fetus. this album has been ruling my life ever since i picked it up!!!! i have been a fan ov the fetus for a long time now, one ov my favorite bands for sure....with this album they have a much more grindcore feel to it, like another one ov my favs DEVOURMENT... musically its very solid, but the vocalls are what makes this one, gallagher's gutterals are brutal brutal brutal!!!!! deff buy this and all DYING FETUS albums!!!! i highly recommend destroy the opposition

this album is one of my all time favorites. in dying fetus's earlier stuff they seemed to be super creative but they would rarely have a root melody that they returned to. this album has a lot of good writing, lots of crazy riffs and tempo changes. the songs shift a lot but there all blended. my favorite tracks are procreate the malformed and fornication terrorists.
