| Great Movie, never forgot it from Childhood
I love this movie! I saw it in the 1970's and never forgot it. Two years ago I told me 10 yr old daughter about it, and set out to find it. bought an old vhs copy from Ebay. Whole family loved it! Just got it on DVD as a gift. I love the simplicity of how this family lives in modest times. Pure movie, great for families!!

| Watching Christmas at Easter . . .
I love watching Christmas movies all year long and purchased this one recently . . .it won't be on my top ten favorites, but was heartfelt. I actually bought it as it is set in 1946 which is the year my folks married and was interested to see how they recreated that timeframe. I will watch it again in the future, but for now remain loyal to others that I have grown to love over the years.
