Closed Captioned; Additional Footage; Soundtrack English; Soundtrack Spanish A nuclear explosion plunges a group of Kansas residents into a fraught battle for survival in this post-apocalyptic serial drama. Isolated from the rest of the country in the small town of Jericho, and unsure of the cause behind the explosion, uncertainty and chaos reigns supreme. Chief among the survivors is Jake Green (Skeet Ulrich), a prodigal son who returned to Jericho after his grandfather died. But his uncanny skill with a gun and ability to perform complicated medical procedures provoke troubling questions about his shadowy past. Rifts form among the townsfolk as survival instincts take over, while others fight to maintain order among the ashes. As the series proceeds, its rich ensemble of characters come ever closer to the reasons for the strange new world they are faced with. Originally cancelled by CBS, loyal fans successfully lobbied to have the series continued for a second season. It won't take new viewers long to see what the fuss was about. $16.29 After a decade in abeyance, the courtly cannibal, Hannibal Lecter, returns to the screen, again played by Anthony Hopkins, under the direction of Ridley Scott. When F.B.I. Agent Clarice Starling (Julianne Moore) is blamed for a botched drug bust, her boss Paul Krendler (Ray Liotta) makes a media circus of her humiliation, which catches the attention of Lecter. Now a hardened veteran, she begins receiving letters from the twisted genius, who remains obsessed with her. Yet she's not the only one interested in drawing out the psychopath, now lecturing on the Renaissance in Florence. Italian detective Pazzi (Giancarlo Giannini) hopes to impress his young wife by nailing the reward for his capture, and wealthy pedophile Mason Verger (Gary Oldman) is eager to take revenge against the cannibal for leaving him with a hideously deformed face. But they're no match for Hannibal's coyly satanic ubiquity, which bewilders his quickly narcotized foes before he administers a punishment sufficiently grotesque to suit his sense of amusement. The odious Krendler, in particular, ...

Jericho - The Complete First Season video
$15.65 Writer-director Noah Baumbach follows up his Oscar-nominated THE SQUID AND THE WHALE with another bitingly funny and painfully honest dissection of family life. This time around, the topic is sisterhood. Margot (Nicole Kidman) and her adolescent son Claude (Zane Pais) take a train from New York City to Long Island, where Margot's sister Pauline (Jennifer Jason Leigh) is about to get married to Malcolm (Jack Black). Even though Margot is a successful writer with a compassionate husband (John Turturro), she is repressed, bitter, insecure, and angry, and she takes out her frustrations on anyone and everyone around her. Pauline is initially happy that her sister has decided to come to the wedding, but she quickly realizes that Margot is still her terrible old self. Over the course of a few days, past conflicts erupt and present conflicts explode, threatening not only to put a damper on the wedding, but to ruin it completely.
Baumbach's gift for dialogue is unmatched. ...
