(1 Customer Review)
In the year 1990 the 4th Pavlov`s Dog Album Lost In America was released, an album which nobody was expecting. Until now it was only available in USA. Now Rockville presents the first regular release in Europe. Containing additional 8 bonustracks - a compilation of rare and unreleased liverecordings from 1990 to 2006 - this release is a real jewelcase for the fans. In 1990 it anyway was 13 years since Pavlov`s Dog split, while recording their 3rd album Has Ayone Here Seen Sigfried, wrecked and frustrated. The remarkable thing about that is, that only just three years before Pavlov`s Dog were the highest singned newcomerband ever since, ready and being expected to climb the peak of rockmusic. Julia and Song Dance from their 1st album Pempered Menial - each song a powerful and emotional artwork and never out of print until today - are dateless classics of rock. In the period of 13 years Pavlov`s Dog had been vanished completely, a mystical aura arose surrounding Pavlov`s Dog, whose lead singer David SurKamp owned this unbelievable voice falsetto. 13 years the insistent rumor spread around David Surkamp had died from inhaling helium before singing. This seemed to be self evident, how could somebody of that extraordinary quality in singing an songwriting simply vanish, besides having died? After all four of the original band members contributed to Lost In America. Lost In America is no boring and halfheated reincarnation of the „old' Pavlov`s Dog, for nostalgics stuck in the 70ies. It is a felicitous developed transfer of the old spirit into the period of the late 80ies. Right listening to the title track Lost In America reminds of the shiver coming down your spine years ago listening to Julia. Pavlov's Dog Lost In America Songs | 1. | Lost in America |

| | Kansas Point Of Know Return CD (1977) Bonus Tracks; Remastered
Lost In America CD music
$6.85 The high point of Kansas's long career, 1977's POINT OF KNOW RETURN found the American heartlanders finally striking the perfect balance between complex prog-rock, hard-hitting heavy guitar work, and crafty pop sensibilities. This is perhaps best exemplified by the title cut, a sparkling tune full of jaunty interaction between piano and violin that moves unerringly through some tricky musical maneuvers, while remaining engagingly catchy and accessible. The electrifying riffs that fly around in "Lightning's Hand" and "The Spider" show that the knack for tunes like the previous album's classic "Carry On Wayward Son" had not deserted Kansas. At the same time, thoughtful (but not saccharine) ballads such as "Dust in the Wind" and "Hopelessly Human" make it clear that there was more than flash to the band. Nevertheless, there's honestly impressive flash aplenty to be found here in Kansas's finest hour.
This is the definitive Kansas recording and includes their most famous tune, "Dust in the Wind." The band is in peak form and also churned out the single "Point of Know Return," which is still played daily on classic ...

| | Paul McCartney Memory Almost Full CDs (2007) Bonus CD; Deluxe Edition; Digipak
Lost In America album
$20.29 Includes a bonus disc with audio commentary and 3 bonus tracks.
The first release from the Starbucks-backed Hear Music label, 2007's MEMORY ALMOST FULL, is a significant point in Paul McCartney's long and legendary career. Not only does it mark the end of his decades-long relationship with Capitol Records, MEMORY is easily one of McCartney's most Beatlesque solo outings, a notion particularly reinforced by the album's ABBEY ROAD-styled closing suite.
Even before that dynamic medley, however, McCartney offers up some ...
| | Pavlov's Dog Has Anyone Here Seen Sigfried CD (2008) (Import) The "Third Album" + 10 Bonustracks
Lost In America CD music
$21.69 At last there it really is, the third Pavlov`s Dog album. Many years this album was considered to be lost, as the band split in the middle of the recording sessions 1977, followed by vanishing traceless for 13 years. Only just three years before Pavlov`s Dog were the highest signed newcomers ever since, ready and being expected to climb the peak of rockmusic. Julia and Song Dance from their 1st album Pempered Menial - each song a powerful and emotional artwork and never out of print until today - are dateless classics. Even though Has Anyone Here Seen Sigfried was never really finished, songs like Only You or Jenny breath the spirit of Pempered Menial. Once again it is David Surkamps unbelievable voice and style of singing that arrests listeners attention, like coming from another world.Rumors were spread David Surkamp ...
