As much as I love any album this gentleman makes, i gotta say this magic slice of blues may be his masterpiece.

Not what I was expecting
Joe is an amazing talent, but this album is not what I was expecting. It feels like a step in the wrong direction... of course that's based on my personal taste in music.

Variety and Spice
Joe never disappoints me. He is, in my opinion, one of the best guitarists of this day. His playing is quick and consice, vocals sultry and clear.

Very Good CD ...but not quite up to prior efforts
Joe Bonamassa never disappoints. He is a wonderfully talented player and whether it's a live show or a CD, his work is always fantastic! But the fact is that this CD ("Sloe Gin") and his last ("You and Me") do not deliver the same bite and band performance that his previous CD's like "Blues Deluxe" and "Had To Cry Today" delivered.
