For those who are fans of the guitar hero series, this game will come to relief the need for new songs, but, in the end it will leave you thinking you could have had more in the pack.
Although the selection of songs was very wise, ranging from "The Killers" to "In Flames", rolling through the classics of the 70's and more recent rock/metal, there are fewer songs than I would expect in the disc, considering that the PS3 uses the High Capacity Blue Ray. Other than that, the expert mode seems to be made for not-discovered-Satrianis, being extremely dificult, but, anyways, some people seem to be able to play in that mode.
In general I would say it is worth its price, and it is A GREAT game, but not EXCELENT, but only because of the short list of songs (including the bonus and excluding the pay-for-download available at the playstation store - psn.net).

 Rock!!!!
Rock and Videogame on a same package, guitar hero is a awesome and fun game to play alone or with some friends! even my fiace love it!! Playing with guitar turns the game best at all! I became a fan of this game in the first minute i played it. Now, i will stop talking and i will back to play...hehehe

Guitar Hero III is the best
The shipment arrived so fast I was amazed, and everything was in great condition and my son was so very excited to get the xmas gift. I had trouble finding it in the stores and CD Universe was the best bet.

Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock Hints To battle with Lou using Easy Mode notes, try the following. When the battle with Lou begins (on Expert Mode), strum without holding any frets down. When you lose, select the Tutorial option at the Game Over menu. Do the Guitar Battle Tutorial and play through it in its entirety. After the "Lesson Complete" message appears on-screen and the next fret board appears, pause the game and exit. This will bring you back to the Lessons menu. From here, press the red button, which will bring you back to the list of songs. The battle with Lou should be highlighted. Choose the song, and Lou's note chart will be set to Easy Mode now.
