Darrell Day is a Masters Degreed composer, conductor, and performer with over 250 works in print. A graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and Butler University, Mr. Day has a long history of excellence in performance - first as a singer, then later as a composer and pianist. While versed in most forms of vocal and instrumental music, his passion has always been composition - the creation of new music that takes the listener on a journey. Each piece tells a different story with strength and gentleness. Darrell has additional voice study at the Metropolitan Opera in New York and performance experience as a singer on many stages in Europe and the United States. He now creates commissioned works for churches, schools and civic organizations in addition to writing and performing for charity events and special causes around the country. Jeffers Handbell Supply is the sole distributor of his handbell works. He has also written 2 musicals, 2 small film scores, a mass, and an opera called "Lizzie Lloyd" based on a true story that took place in his hometown of Versailles, Indiana. He has 2 companies - Your Song Press, the publisher of all his written works and Consolidated Music Services, a company specializing in music consulting. He and his beautiful and talented wife, Susan, have 2 great children, Megan and Tom. They live, work, love and play in Indianapolis, Indiana.
