Since 1998 Lo-Fi Nipple has been playing stripped-down, premium garage rock n roll to small packed bars located along the Olde Highway 101 in Southern California. With artwork, Go-Go girls, and an anything goes live show the boys of Lo-Fi Nipple boil their rawk n roll down to the basics. Lo-Fi Nipple's release on EARTHLING RECORDS, 'Screaming Beneath the Waves' presents 10 songs that capture the live energy of the band. San Diego's indie rock wizard Mike Kamoo used an old 16 track analog tape machine to capture the energy and warm sound of Nipple's live shows. WESTERBERG ends the CD with a rousing 1-live take, 2:OO A.M. rock n roll tribute to The Replacements (the only way a tribute to The Replacements should be recorded).
