The only other incarnation of Black Sabbath that stomped a footprint into heavy metal history (other than the influential and classic Ozzy era), was led by former Elf/Rainbow vocal powerhouse Ronnie James Dio. With former Dio solo band drummer Vinny Appice in tow, the band reconvened for a third time as Heaven & Hell. LIVE FROM RADIO CITY captures a flawlessly executed 2007 performance that draws from all three studio albums, as well as showcasing new material.

Having both bought this CD and seen them live on this tour, i must say it is an amazing album. Dio's voice is not a problem, it being as strong as when he was "in his prime". Songs like The Mob Rules and Neon lights are brilliant. I highly recommend it.

I'm afraid I must disagree with our Peruvian friend; RJ's voice is in great shape and this recording proves it! No it doesn't sound the same as the studio recordings twenty-something years ago but that's because it's a live effort!!!

Sabbath/Dio Rise Again!!
Outstanding live album from the best in the business guys!! Get this one. They still get it done even being in there mid 50s. All the great songs from the Heaven and Hell-1980, Mob Rules-1981 and one from Dehumanizer-1992 albums.This one will go down as one of the greatest live album ever!! Get the DVD also great stuff!!!

This album includes the best songs from Black Sabbath with DIO. Disk 1 includes classic songs that also appeared in Life Evil. From disk 2, pay attention to "Falling off...", "Die Young" and "Lonely is..."
... but just one big problem, DIO´s voice is not the same and does not help the live performance...

Even before M.I.A. (Maya Arulpragasam) debuted in 2005 with ARULAR, the blogosphere was already abuzz about her, engaging in the kind of discourse normally reserved for academic dissertations. Whether hailed as a canny postmodern pastiche or dismissed as inauthentic cultural pirating, the music, a lively pan-global mash-up of regional dance music styles, seemed to be emanating simultaneously from every ghetto, favela, and council-flat within earshot. As if to call out her detractors, M.I.A. returns for another shot of explosive, politically charged and globally conscious dance music on her second album, KALA.
Lacking the patchwork quality of the debut, KALA is a more cohesive and polished affair, though it matches its predecessor for shear visceral thrills.
