As always with any Nintendo game console, the first Super Mario game is one of the defining experiences on the system. Join Mario as he ushers in a new era of video games, defying gravity across all the planets in the galaxy. When some creature escapes into space with Princess Peach, Mario gives chase, exploring bizarre planets all across the galaxy. Since he's in space, Mario can perform mind-bending jumps unlike anything he’s done before. He'll also have a wealth of new moves that are all based around tilting, pointing and shaking the Wii Remote. I give it 3 stars since the graphics are absolutely beautiful in this game. Other than that, the gameplay, although fun, seems short and there really aren't any surprises.
I was kind of hoping for some large areas to run in and do some puzzle solving a la Mario64. Unfortunately it's all small planets which means, yes SMALL/SHORT missions.
The game made each mission too short and I just didn't feel proud or like I earned any of those stars. It felt way to short and easy.
Either that or I'm just getting too old for this.

It will make everyone happy
This game is beatiful, I think that it doesn't matter how old are you or which country are you, This game has simple controls that you'll make everyone who play it easily cling with it and fell so good. This game has amazing graphics, I'd say it's the best of Wii, and some of the best soundtrack I ever listened to. Please buy this

im like 11 and i bought this game to just unlock rosalina on mario karts wii but then i started playing and couldnt stop i usually buy games like animal crossing(the game i bought just before) or my sims (i also have sim city creator and something else...) but i love this game so much!!! you should buy it even if your not into action games!!!(do you cconsider mario karts action???)

Multiplayer features for two gamers playing together Super Mario Galaxy Hints Because you start each game with only four lives (after shutting the game off and turning it back on), you might be in need of some extra lives upon rebooting the game. You can usually get five right off the bat from Toad (he'll run around with a letter above his head, symbolizing a letter from either Luigi, or more likely Peach). There are four more strewn around the Observatory that you can acquire, however: - 1.) On the moving green platform below the core.
- 2.) Under the stairs leading to the kitchen.
- 3.) Right at the top of the observatory. (Once the Red Star is unlocked)
- 4.) Underneath the entrance to the gateway to the stars. (Once the Red Star is unlocked)
- 5.) Next to the StarShroom (in a crate)
