Closed Captioned; Soundtrack English; Amaray Case Bernard Black (Dylan Moran) hates his job, his life, and his friends. In fact, there's not much Bernard doesn't hate, except for a glass of red wine and the chance to torment his coworker Mani (Bill Bailey). Bernard runs Black Books, a dusty secondhand bookstore whose customers he loathes; Mani is employed in the first episode to help Bernard rid himself of the interminable duties that clutter up his day. Fran (Tamsyn Grieg) works in a New Age shop next door and frequently pops in for a glass of wine and a chat. This release presents every episode from the three series' of the show, with 18 half-hour episodes that deserve to rub shoulders with the very best U.K. sitcoms to have emerged over the years. $10.25 Set in 1962; Produced and released in 1973.
AMERICAN GRAFFITI presents a powerful collage of youth on the brink of maturity just before the assassination of J.F.K.. Based on George Lucas's own teenage hot-rodding days in Modesto, California, this brilliant, bittersweet comedy inspired numerous other productions, including the long-running TV series HAPPY DAYS. Lucas's second feature film (following THX 1138), AMERICAN GRAFFITI contains an early screen appearance by Harrison Ford, who would figure heavily in the director's next movie, the sci-fi epic STAR WARS. The film follows one night in the lives of several recently graduated high school students. The genial Steve (Ron Howard) prepares to leave for college the next day, and Laurie (Cindy Williams), his girlfriend, is upset by his impending departure. Laurie's brother, Curt (Richard Dreyfuss), the class intellectual, is also slated for college, but he has serious doubts about his future. Also included here are the hopeless nerd (Charles Martin Smith) ...

Complete Black Books movie DVD
$10.29 With the release of Robert Altman's M*A*S*H in 1970, a new form of comedy was born, one that would help to forever change the face of cinema. Altman's audacious film reflected the American counterculture's growing distrust of religion and government in the late 1960s and early 1970s, resulting in one of the biggest box office smashes of its time. Introducing the techniques he would employ throughout his storied career--overlapping dialogue, a constantly moving camera with a heavy amount of zooming, and a bold combination of frank subject matter with cynical humor--Altman immediately vaulted himself to Hollywood's upper ranks. Based on the novel by Richard Hooker, M*A*S*H follows a group of Mobile Army Surgical Hospital officers as they perform surgery and pass the time just miles from the front lines ...
