Secret Weapons for the Modern Drummer by Jo Jo Mayer is a "must have" for any serious drummer and CD Universe is THE place to purchase it. By far the best price I have found. I will purchase from CD Universe again. Check Amazon for user reviews of this video, which is 5 STARS, then buy from CD Universe.

 An instant classic!
I've seen just about every drumming DVD out there and nothing even approaches what is accomplished here. JoJo unselfishly shares what he knows with us and breaks it down into the most simple elements - as a good teacher should always do. The production and organization of the concepts are also well thought out with the whole; flowing perfectly from one lesson to another. The camera-work and multi-speed views of the techniques are also very effective here. There are also some nice breathing spots between lessons using solo performances and some interesting oddities to keep things fresh. JoJo comes off as a down to earth, easy going and humble person which only adds that much more to this session. For the small price of this DVD one gets a whole lifetime of lessons from one of the true masters of the art. Thank you JoJo Mayer!
