| | Terry Ray Thomas Still Finding My Way CD Terry Ray Thomas Discography of CDs
The first CD by Terry Ray Thomas titled 'Still Finding My Way' consists of 12 original songs written by Terry Ray Thomas. This is modern country with an old school feel and just a touch of bluegrass. The musicianship and quality of this project is top notch. I owe a great deal of gratitude to Jeannine O'Neal who produced the CD and played a multitude of instruments on it. Jeannine is a true musician and has worked with a very impressive list of performers. Along with her husband Gradie O'Neal they create a relaxing environment to work and a professional team comparable to any studio. The awe-inspiring Scott Joss does the fiddle work. Aside from winning the California State Men's Fiddle contest three consecutive years, and working with Dwight Yoakam for fifteen years; Scott's first major gig was with Merle Haggard and the Strangers at Carnegie Hall. Is there a word more powerful than amazing for Scott's talents? Steel guitar fans will be pleased to know that Bobby Black handles all of the steel and Dobro work. Bobby's resume includes the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame, playing the Grand Ole Opry numerous times at both Opryland and the Ryman Auditorium; and for several years a member of Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen. His work on 'Still Finding My Way' is nothing less than incredible. Any major piano work was handled by Tom Tomasello. Tom is a phenomenal keyboard player and musician out of the San Jose, CA area. Check out his work on 'My Baby Drives My Pickup'. The banjo work was handled by Jeff Scroggins. Jeff is a national banjo champion and an incredible banjo player presently in the Corrales, NM area. You should never pass up an opportunity to see Jeff live and meet him in person. Alex Gonzales, from San Jose, CA, plays the accordion. Alex will astound you with his work on this CD and helps capture the TexMex/banda feel on 'That's Not the Way'. Last, but by far not least, Joe Ferrante provides some background vocal work. 'Big Joe' is a mountain of a man with a fabulous deep voice. Thanks Joe, thanks to all the musicians and players, thank you to all who made this CD possible, and thank you for listening to my music. Still Finding My Way album
$7.19 The idea behind The New Digital Sound started around 1995 in dirty basements strewn throughout various Massachusetts suburbs by Copelinn. His D. I. Y. approach was a result of frustration with the then dead local band scene. Early NDS songs were recorded using no more than a multitude of guitar stomp boxes, outdated drum machines, and simple analog four track tape recorders. While the early recordings were crude and imperfect, they showed a glimmer as to what direction Copelinn and The New Digital Sound was going. It was around this time that Copelinn discovered ...
| | Adam Warner No Place To Lay CD (2005)
Still Finding My Way CD music
$15.19 Adam Warner knows a lot of different roads. Certainly he is no stranger to change. You see, sometimes you encounter things that drastically alter your life or your perception of it. It could be restless new sounds you hear that tear you out of your everyday existence. Or maybe it's seeing the 'Dead End' sign at the end of your street and smiling knowingly. Sometimes it's a matter of life-altering fried chicken.Whether it's hearing Tom Waits and Guy Clark for the first time or hanging out in Austin and having your friend Gary McElhaney (sculptor and former Armadillo World Headquarters poster artist) prepare the best meal of your life or well, just realizing the intellectual and artistic limitations of living just outside a town where the real estate agent's name is Skeeter, something's got to budge. So budge he did. Unable to heed the stop signs they finally got in the hamlet of Lakeport, he traded the beloved ghost town of his youth for the biggest city in the country. Of course, he left room in his suitcase for the values and history he grew up with. You can take the boy out of the country but. . . You get the picture. So he ended up in the city playing with everyone, everywhere. Since then the list looks like a who's who of what's going on in Canada. Adam was the longtime drummer for the other-worldly crazy rock and roll armada known as White Cowbell Oklahoma. He is also a former member of pop sensation The Golden Dogs. He was even a founding member of African group Radio Nomad (winner of Music Africa's Band of the Year award in 2000. ) He has performed and/or recorded with members of the Barenaked Ladies, Sloan, the Tragically Hip, Blue Rodeo, Great Big Sea, Moist- really any major Canadian act who didn't move to southern California in the mid to late 60's. Touring extensively through North America, Europe and the U.K. he has played everywhere from the Cavern Club to CBGB's to Bospop to SXSW and all points in between. Along the way he has shared festival stages ...

Still Finding My Way album
$9.29 After stepping away from the music business 16 years ago to dedicate herself to raising her children, Cindy sent an e-mail to Grammy nominated producer Steve Ivey of IMI Music in Nashville telling him how much she appreciated the Bluegrass/Gospel CD she had recently purchased. This e-mail was to be a life changing one, as eventually Ivey invited Boehler down to Nashville to audition in his Music Row studio. Ivey signed Cindy on her first day in Nashville and both set forth on an intense process of putting together the beginning works of Boehler's debut CD, Set It Free.It was apparent from the start that Cindy was blessed with strong song writing skills and Ivey pushed her to commit to six original recordings on the CD. Through an offhand comment about how wonderful The Jordanaires were on a Patsy Cline song they were reviewing for possible recording, Ivey asked if Cindy would like to have them record the song with her, and the rest is in the history books. The Jordanaires and Cindy, with her strong Patsy inspired vocals fit together like bread and butter. The Jordanaires are present on 6 of the 12 traks and with two of the original members still performing, the sound is shockingly similar to the cuts they originally recorded with Cline. The Jordanaires recently travelled all the way from Nashville to Nebraska to help Boehler release her CD to over 700 fans!Cindy has credited many for inspiring her to be a musician, but none more than a mother who made sure there was always music in the house when she was growing up. "I was fortunate to have a mother who knew what it meant to teach me to love Jesus and be grateful ...
